“Fabulous!”

Communication from Roeland was excellent from the moment of booking. He sent me a comprehensive list of things to do, restaurants to book etc. It was so helpful. The Tannery is in a superb location, right on the canal and near 2 bridges. The view was beautiful, as was the room, which is very stylishly decorated. There were some lovely welcoming touches, fresh flowers, macarons and a welcome card. The desk drawer was full of useful stuff on Amsterdam. 2 doors can be opened on to a Juliette balcony so you can sit and take in the city. Really comfortable bed, good shower in a wet room style bathroom. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room including games, first aid kit, ladies sanitary items, umbrella, safe etc. Nespresso machine and pods, kettle with tea bags & milk, mini fridge with a selection of complimentary soft and alcohol drinks. Were we to go back to Amsterdam we wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. Please be aware that there are around 50 very steep and narrow steps from the entrance to the building to the room door. These weren’t a problem for us, good cardio, but may be for some.

The room was beautiful, with nice touches such as the mini bar, welcome baked treats and coffee machine. Stunning view from the balcony and a great location. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels.

Our hosts were so wonderful and friendly. Lovely big comfy bed with plush pillows and extra blankets if needed. There were so many lovely touches in the room that made the stay special. Location is great for all the best locations in Jordaan, lots of lovely shops, pubs and places to eat on the doorstep. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

The location of the Tannery was spot on, all attractions are within in walking distance. The Bird Room was fantastic, every amenity was on hand and had been thought of. Roeland was an absolute star, nothing was too much trouble and he left us little sweet treats on a daily basis and even a little bag of Christmas gifts!!

Amazing location, with close proximity to pubs and cafes. The evening is quiet however activities are only a stone throw away. The views were perfect and the host left many snacks and drinks for us to enjoy. Overall an enjoyable experience and a pleasant host, I would definitely book again.
