What a great escape from the busy city of Amsterdam. Affordable prices. A romantic getaway for our weekend that was a surprise for my girlfriend's birthday. We were so generously welcomed by Aneta who also decorated the boat as the birthday surprise package. Thank you, it was wonderful.

Staying on a boat and still in the city was a great experience. And despite being on a real boat one has running water, proper shower and WC, electricity, so much like a usual holiday apartment but fancier. And having your drink at sunset on the deck was the best of all. We absolutely loved everything.

“Unique location and ideal for Amsterdam in a heat wave.”
The boat was great and in a picturesque location amongst the other boats. Amsterdam is amazing but it was 30°+ so being a short bike ride from the centre was very welcome! The boat was lovely and cool at night, unlike the city centre. Cycling everywhere was so much cooler than walking. Saved us from loads of arguments . Drinking a beer on the deck for sunset was just lovely if city night life isn't your thing.

“Brilliant experience”
Great experience staying on a converted boat. Stylish, quirky, peaceful, fun and surprisingly spacious. The Kids loved it. Kitchen with fridge, toaster, coffee maker and kettle handy for breakfasts and snacks. Not too far to walk to Straat, the A'dam or the windmill Krijtmolan d' Admiraal. Lovely and peaceful sitting out on deck in the evening. Much easier once we'd worked out the public transport. For us, the bus (391la really short walk from the end of the road that went straight into Centraal station was the easiest option a lot of the time. .

“Beautiful, cosy boat”
We absolutely loved staying on the boat. Really comfortable, unique and in a really interesting area. One day it rained and we sat and listened to it from the cosiness of the boat - we hope to come back next year!

It was a lovely boat, nicely decorated and welcoming, very comfortable, had all the amenities you could think of. The night at the mooring was something else, so powerful was the silence. Also, and very importantly as we visited in winter, it was nice and warm. An outside sauna can be used and there is a restaurant very close by. The owner was very present and made sure we were comfortable at all times.

“Cozy House, Quiet Area, and Responsive Owner”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house felt welcoming and had everything we needed to be comfortable throughout our visit. There was a dedicated parking space for guests, which was very convenient. Getting to the city center was easy and didn’t take much time, making it simple to explore and run errands. We stayed during the winter, so the area was very calm and peaceful, which we appreciated. However, it’s easy to see that in summer the surroundings would be lively and enjoyable, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Communication with the owner was easy and smooth, as they were responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we would definitely consider coming back in the future.

“Excellent. 5*”
Such a different and exciting place to stay. The staff were accommodating throughout and were very understanding when we had to delay our arrival because of our flight being delayed. It was warm and comfortable and was a lovely place to be amongst the snow and ice.

“A unique way to stay in Amsterdam.”
The novelty of staying in a house boat was great. The boat was comfortable and the nearby cafe was handy. Close to bus but a 20 min walk to the free ferries

“A wonderful cosy spot, 30 min walk from the centre”
The boat is in a lovely gated community area with amazing people. The boat itself is clean, although some flies knocking around. It suits 6 people perfectly.
