We had a wonderful stay at Alp Hotel. We had large suitcases, and the staff kindly helped us carry them to our room, which was very much appreciated. Our room was decorated with Van Gogh paintings, which made it feel special, and the Van Gogh Museum was also within walking distance. The view from the balcony was also wonderful, and we appreciated that an ashtray was provided there. One of the best things was the free coffee machine next to the reception. We could enjoy coffee as many times as we wanted, which was fantastic. The staff at the front desk were extremely kind and welcoming. They spoke to us every morning in such a friendly way that it felt almost like meeting old friends. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was also excellent. There is a tram stop right across from the hotel, so it was very easy and convenient to visit different areas of Amsterdam. We also arrived earlier than the usual check-in time, and they kindly allowed us to check in early for free, which was very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

Good location, 30 minute walk or a 10 minute tram ride into the centre of Amsterdam. Lots of places to eat near the Hotel and a supermarket opposite, check out Moeders Restaurant. Nice bathroom.

Great location, everyday cleaning and towels, full amenities (even toothbrush). Very welcome people, every day water bottles and chocolates in the rooms.

I can honestly say The Alp is alwats my first go to hotel when booking amsterdam and of course many times it is fully booked which never surprises me. Perfect location, super friendly staff.Tahir is very welcoming, always pleasant and helpful.

Great location. Good sized balcony on the top floor room. Beds comfortable.

The room is nice, and they can clean up everyday. There are tram to city or train stations, despite some construction going on so no direct trains to old town area. Some choices of restaurants around. 24hr counter service but has curfew after 11pm.

Staff were super friendly and helpful! The room was a twin with Balcony which was perfect for me and my friend. The balcony had chairs! We had enough space inside to open our suitcases! The room and bathroom were clean! It smelt nice! You could control your own heating! Shower was perfect, great water pressure and the water drained away and didn't pool up at your feet. Hot drinks available anytime from the machine. Super safe as the door gets locked. Nice walking distance from the centre for me and my friend however transport is basically outside. I would stay here again!

The hotel was walking distance from shops and restaurants. Walk to central station was 25 min. If you don’t want to walk tram is just outside the hotel

Tahir was a legend and very friendly - love the free tea and coffee and the great rooms - comfy beds and the balcony and jacuzzi was a total winner!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable and location was not too far from the city centre! We particularly loved how attentive the staff were and that there were little treats like apples, free drinks and small chocolates when we checked in

“Affordable stay near Jordaan”

Really good location near to Jordaan district (10 min walk). Walking to red light district was approx 30 mins. Really liked the small touches of chocolate and apple on bed every day (good for midnight munchies). Unfortunately did not have time to try the spa bath but power shower was great. Balcony was a plus too.
