I loved the warm welcome I received at the entrance. I literally felt relief entering the building and seeing the smiling faces. I was offered an afternoon tour, which I took, and it was a perfect choice! Vicky is the best guide I've ever met in India. He tells incredibly interesting and humorous stories about the city, its customs, and its history. Vicky is incredibly helpful and friendly! I recommend a tour with him to everyone. With him by your side, you'll feel safe and well-cared for.

The staff at the hostel were all so kind and helpful, they really made our stay a nice experience. You can easily book tours via them, for example to the Attari-Wagah boarder. The guide Vicky that they work with is the most funny and nice guy!! We really enjoyed!

The vibe, the food, the people

Staff was really friendly and helped with a lot of questions. They also organise little tours to the border if you are in for that. The rooftop was has a beautiful view and it’s perfectly located to reach everything by walking. It’s not located on the main road though so when arriving the big signs where to go really helped.

The Staff, especially Samar at the reception was really really sweet and helpful. Location is absolutely amazing, walking distance from every place you would want to visit. Vikramjit a.k.a Vicky, was the warmest hug Amritsar has in store, he knows all there is to Amritsars history and hospitality. Overall, a really really good experience.

“Perfect place to stay in Amritsar!”

This is the perfect place to stay in Amritsar! We regretted we didn't spend more nights there! The staff is incredibly helpful, welcoming, nice and flexible. The bedroom was great, big, well decorated, clean and tidy, as well as the bathroom. We had fan, AC, towels, toilet paper and a kettle. There is a rooftop upstairs (with table and benches) as well as a baby-foot and a common area just below, with kitchen, TV and sofas where you can sit on. You can leave your bags after checkout in a secured area, that was very convenient. Everybody was very nice, respectful and easy to talk to. Also, they have daily tour to the boarder, cooking classes ecc.. If we come back to Amritsar, we will come back for sure! Thanks for everything!

I had very much fun in the hostel and met so many solo travellers . The staff is really friendly and the tour guide vicky will make your border tour so good . Highly recommended.

Environment if nice and people too

“Perfect base camp for Amritsar!”

Location is hard to beat and slightly of a honky donkey street so feels a bit better as soon as you arrive. You can see the top of the Golden Temple nearby towers from the roof top!

I loved the cold water facility and also washrooms were nice and clean the bed matters everything was clean.

The hostel is within walking distance of the Golden Temple. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and we even extended our stay by two more days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also organize trips to the border with Pakistan, which I highly recommend. Vicky, the guide, is such an amazing person, I enjoyed the tour with him even more than the border ceremony itself. If you’re coming to Amritsar, I definitely recommend staying here.
