Overview
Situated in the town’s main square, this Hotel is a stunningly, converted 17th century abbey right in the historical town of Ampudias within the beautiful Tierra de Campos area. La Casa del Abad features an restaurant, bar and barbecue facilities. It also offers a spa and wellness centre as well as a fitness centre. Guests can enjoy of the terrace and garden. Breakfast is free for children aged 6 and below. Each room at La Casa del Abad, includes air conditioning, a TV and a wardrobe. All rooms have a bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Originally established as the residence of the Abbot of the Abbey of St. Miguel of Ampudia, the guest house' careful conversion has respected many of the building’s original features. The stately porch entrance is on the town’s main square and the hotel itself considered as one of the most emblematic buildings of the town.

“lovely quirky hotel but with limited food/drink facilities.”
it was a beautiful building in a lovely town. There were a few disadvantages listed be,ow but overall we loved the quirkiness of it and would stay again.

“An enjoyable, comfortable and very peaceful stay.”
It was in the centre of an architecturally interesting small town, more like a big village, with a picturesque castle and ornate Gothic church tower. We could park right outside. The receptionist was charmingly helpful and carried our suitcases up the stairs for us. The interior was consciously rustic and unusual.

“fantastic stay”
a beautiful old property with so much charm and character. we were upgraded to a stunning suite, so kind of them. the lady on reception and all the staff were SO friendly and welcoming to us and to our dog, Mabel. delicious food in the restaurant and we were very well looked after by 2 lovely waitresses. the town is small but beautiful and very quiet. a stunning church and castle and great walks for the dog. so lovely, we have already booked a room for our return journey in a month’s time.
