I hope I have the name right but Irena and the rest of the family couldn’t do enough for me, especially when I collapsed I think it was the heat (34 Celsius) and I broke my fibula, I was a solo traveler so it was much appreciated it is great if you have mobility issues I took my mobility scooter and it is perfect if you need help I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this accommodation

“A warm and welcoming family-run place, perfect for a relaxing holiday”

We really enjoyed staying at this cosy, family-owned accommodation. Irene and Manuel are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The location is great - just a short walk to the beach - and there’s also a nice pool to relax by. Parking is available right next to the hotel, which is very convenient.

It is little more away from Heraklion, in the streets there were shops and restaurants which was nice.

Clean and friendly staff

The staff was friendly and very kind. I was there for a week long workshop, and due to the timings of the workshop I would have missed the brekfast every morning. When the receptionist realized it, she made sure to make me a healthy and generous breakfast and kept it outside my room every night.

Location was good. Beach is near and it was fantastic. Bus stop was right next To the hotel so it was easy To go. Good restaurants was near To hotel. Staff at the hotel was very friendly.

Total value for money, excellent hosts. Nothing was a issue, location was perfect, bus stop 2 mins to city. Plenty of bars & restaurants/ car hire is a must. The beach is a 3 min walk from the hotel, the hotel & restaurant staff were amazing, couldn't do enough. Will definitely stay again..

“Good choice”

The hotel is small but very well located, close to the sandy beach. Attached to the hotel is a lovely restaurant called Pergola, known for its good pizza and spaghetti carbonara. It's cozy and in the evenings, pleasant music plays in the restaurant. The hotel pool is splendid and very clean. There are many flowering shrubs on the hotel grounds, which adds to its beauty. I saw four rooms in the hotel. They differ slightly; some bathrooms are quite nice while others are outdated. It's worth noting the excellent water pressure and always available hot water. If you're concerned about water on the floor after a shower, simply wipe it with a floor towel, and both the floor and the mat will be dry in an hour. Outside the summer season, it wouldn't hurt to have a rubber squeegee in the bathrooms to collect water; there's space to store it. The towels and bed linen are immaculately clean—bravo. The pillows are low but quite comfortable; additional ones can be requested. We asked for an extra summer blanket, which was kindly provided. There are mosquitoes, but that's normal for Crete; just bring a mosquito repellent. The TV in the room is small and high up, but who needs a TV when everyone has smartphones nowadays? The refrigerator and air conditioner worked perfectly. With the air conditioner running, it's prohibited to leave the balcony door open. In our room, there was a kettle, spoons, and two mugs. Unfortunately, our kettle leaked, but in summer, it wasn't particularly needed. Since our room was close to the reception, we had no issues with Wi-Fi. We can't say how it is on other floors, but if there are complaints about weak Wi-Fi, the hotel should consider installing a signal booster; it's inexpensive. Breakfast at the hotel is simple but satisfying—you won't leave hungry. It would be nice to see toast, a toaster, and individual servings of butter. Unfortunately, the coffee at breakfast is only instant.

The staff, the location near the beach, near a market et very close to a bus stop to go to the airport. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel was in a few minutes walk from Ammoudara beach, you only had to cross the street. if you left the hotel and turned right you were at a bus station and a few all-rounder shops. Really you had everthing you need. The breakfast had a wide range of options. Next to the hotel there was the pool they share with the restaurant. Both was very good and fully met my hopes. The gardens were also beautiful. I can only recommend.

We spent 10 unforgettable days in an exotic hotel “Violetta”. The hosts are exceptionally hospitable, the breakfast with domestic pies was amazing! The apartment was very clean, the terrace is so nice and the saloon is like from the movies. We will come back to this magical hotel for sure! Special regard to the host and the girl who works at taverna “Pergola”. Viva la Greece - Viva la Serbia!
