The host was very welcoming and incredibly nice, he brought us water and gift bags at the start and end of our trip.

The apartment was very clean. The outdoor veranda was lovely & the apartment was exactly as per the photos. The refrigerator was full of food & drinks on arrival & we were also given a lovely farewell gift.

“Simply perfect in every possible way!”

Everything was perfect! The flat was great and equipped with everything you might need. The outside veranda on the balcony is a dream...beautifully decorated, spacious and with a majestic view of the sea and the mountains. You can sit there for hours without feeling the need to go outside. The view just calms you and grants you a sense of freedom... Another detail that warms the heart is the welcoming of Nikos and Popi, the owners. When i arrived i found a food platter waiting for me along with traditional sweet pastries and the cretan raki. On top of that the fridge was filled with lots of things i might need. On Easter day and just before my departure Nikos and Popi left gifts for me outside the door...this is the real greek filoksenia, honoring and taking care of their guests. It really felt so nice...and i thank them for everything. They are people with warm hearts that go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. I will be more than happy to return to the flat in the near future! Actually i will be thrilled! 😊

“Perfect stay…”

Great studio with a large terrace overlooking the sea in a very good location with many tavernas and shops and not far from the beach. The studio has all the amenities and is absolutely perfect. Even the fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks. Gladly to come again anytime...

I am very happy that I had the opportunity to spend my vacation in these apartments. The terrace with its breathtaking view of the sea was the perfect place to enjoy my morning coffee and evening sunsets. However, what touched us the most were the warm-hearted hosts, who welcomed us upon arrival with traditional Greek treats, creating a truly cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Upon departure, we were greeted with a surprise gift, which further highlighted the hosts' care and attention to their guests. This was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to everyone!

“Best accommodation in Amoudara”

This was by far the best accommodation we've ever stayed at. The flat was beautifully decorated, very clean, and it has all facilities you may need (iron, oven, a big fridge, coffee machine, etc.). The terrace is amazing and it has an outstanding view of the island. Furthermore, Niko and Popi are amazing hosts. They received us with typical Cretan food and wine, and were always available for our questions. Without a doubt, we will stay here again once we come back :) Cannot recommend it enough!

“Best apartment I've ever stayed at”

The apartment is recently refurbished and well appointed, in a good location, and has all the amenities that one would want: very nice washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, induction hob, oven, iron, air conditioning, TV, you name it. You also get to use the terrace, which has a nice table to eat outdoors, a massive parasol for shade, comfy settees around a coffee table, and sunloungers. The terrace also comes with a cloth horse, so you can dry your swimwear, or your laundry. So that was impressive enough, but what blew us away was all the little touches that make a stay so much more enjoyable and comfortable. First, when we arrived, we found on the table a delicious platter with cheese, tomatoes, olives, gritsinia, pasteli, honey, and kalitsounia, and a lovely message from the hosts. The fridge was stocked with juice and water, and there was a chilled bottle of wine and one of a local spirit for us to enjoy. When we left, we found outside the door a parting gift of honey, herbal teas, and pastries. The apartment was extremely well stocked with both consumables and things that would make our holiday comfortable - for example, a parasol for us to use!! Finally, I would like to shout out to the hosts for being absolutely awesome: we found ourselves having arrived in Heraklion early in the morning, on very little sleep after an overnight ferry, and (entirely my fault) not having organised an early check-in. We texted the hosts asking if we could drop out bags somewhere, so that we could go nap on the beach, and they just replied saying that they would make the apartment ready for us within the hour - which they did, and to the high standards I've described above. Absolute stars!!!

The apartment was very well equipped and our hosts had left snacks and drinks for us as we arrived late at night. We were given gifts for Greek Easter and small souvenirs to take home

Everything excellent! Seldom I've seen such hospitality, warm welcome and friendly and helpful people! The apartment is complete of everything you need to enjoy the holiday. You will find a fridge full of stuff and a kitchen well equipped. The veranda with view at the seaside is superlative! Many, many thanks to NIKOS and POPI! Hope to come back again!

Apartment leaves no wishes open. Everything was new and clean, kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, and the furniture was comfortable. The terrace is as amazing as it looks on the photos - it's spacious with a lot of nice furniture and the sea view is fantastic. The host was really welcoming. In sum, I fully recommend the apartment.

Veranda is trully a amazing accomodation!!! we enjoyed 2 amazing evenings on the terrace which has an amazing sea view of Amoudara. The room was so clean with an incredible breakfast. It is newly built with everything new inside. The owner is always available and you can find him immediately when you need something although the room has everything. it is an excellent choice. highly recommended.
