“Beautiful and friendly place to stay in Ammoudara”

My favourite spot in Ammoudara, I am coming back there. Very friendly and cooperative personnel, very good breakfast, wonderful sea view from the room. Very convenient parking, which is often a challenge in Greece. Room was very clean. Bus stop to Heraklion 5 minutes by walk. Supermarkets and other shops are in very small distance, also a very nice taverna with authentic Cretan kitchen. These apartments is a great family initiative, it is not a big and tiring touristic complex.

This was honestly the perfect location – right on the beach, where you can hear the soothing sound of the waves from your room. Just next to the hotel there is a fantastic beach club restaurant, definitely one of the best in the whole area, with absolutely delicious food and the friendliest, most professional service. The rooms were spacious and clean, and during our stay the weather was so nice that we didn’t even need to use the air conditioner. Everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay by the sea – we truly enjoyed every moment here.

“A lovely and cozy place”

We had a wonderful stay at General. The location is truly fantastic—with some of the upper rooms offering balconies that overlook the beach and the breathtaking sea. If you’re lucky enough to book one of those rooms, you're in for a treat! Our room, No. 2, was conveniently close to the reception area. While this made for easy access, it did get a bit noisy in the mornings—Greek hospitality is famously warm, and so are the conversations 😊. A special mention goes to our incredible host, Maria. She was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everything we asked for, she made happen with ease, and her insider tips added so much value to our trip. All in all, an unforgettable experience in a beautiful spot with lovely people. P.S. If you're thinking of renting a car for a day trip or local exploration, just ask Maria—she’ll gladly assist and point you in the right direction. Also, for those who need laundry services, there’s a convenient walk-in laundromat located not far from the hotel. We tried it once and were pleasantly surprised—it’s spotlessly clean, and the prices for both washing and drying are very reasonable.

“Fantastic place on the Amoudara Beach”

The hotel is located on the beautiful Amoudara Beach, a few meters from the sea. The sea view apartments have a fantastic view. There is a huge parking lot next to it, so if you come by car, you can easily find a place for yourself. Maria Trouli is a great manager, if you have any problems, she will solve them. The apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is polite. You can also find everything you want at breakfast. We had a great week here.

We loved absolutely everything about Troulis Seaside. The most wonderful holidays! Maria, the host, is a lovely ,kind lady, who will do everything and more for her guests. She even upgraded our room to a much bigger one for absolutely no change - thank you so much again! Breakfast was very nice, breakfast room - clean and spacious, our hotel room (and the lovely balcony!) was absolutely fantastic! The conditioning worked well and our room was cleaned every day! We also loved the beachfront location and ,of course, the restaurant Waves. Thank you so, so much, Maria! Also a huge thank you to all ladies, who work with Maria at Troulis. We will definitely come back!

The property is well situated on the beach. It offers breakfast and daily housekeeping. The management and staff are quite friendly and always willing g to assist. Close to public transport and many restaurants, shops and tourist services. The air condition was a great welcome.

Location is amaizing! The hotel is located right on the seafront and the bus stop to Heraklion is just a 3-minute walk away. The room is not so big but comfortable and has a great view. The host is a bright and friendly person, always ready to help with any questions. The breakfasts are delicious.
