The pool was big, however in September the water was too cold and we weren’t able to enjoy swimming. The breakfast was okay.

“Good , comfortable, good location nice breakfast”

Akti Corali hotel for me was as 4 star hotel . Firstly I want to thanks all the staffs hotel all wear helpful and friendly specially Mr Yorgos which helped me to find very good Tavern (( The Kalytera )) which serves very delicious seafood and nice location front of the sea . Then: You start your day with very nice and rich breakfast like 4 star hotel . Then after your coffee start the swimming in very big swimming pools the beach is just 10 meter from the swimming pool side with very nice sand ….. you have free parking for your car …… nice room which was cleaned every day with changing towels …. Nice balcony with seaside view . Shopping 5 minutes away from hotel there is a very big super market Sklavintis which has ready geek cooked food which you can eat there …. There is as well nice coffee shop near the hotel , sell Bread sweet ice cream and nice coffee ….front of the coffee shop you can get the bus to the center line 1 but when you come back take line 6 ! I don’t way like that ! From airport to hotel bus line 6 . From the hotel to airport line 1 ticket in bus cost 2 euro but if you buy from kiosk cost 1.20 euro l, taxi from hotel to airport cost 22 euro hotel staff can arrange taxi for you . Was very nice stay very quiet area you feel your in village but just 15 minutes form the city centre by car or bus .

“Tired old property”

The hotel is right on the beach and about 15 minutes drive from the ferry port and the airport. There was free parking and the hotel pool was nice. There is a supermarket nearby and some restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast varied a bit everyday, it was simple but sufficient. The zucchini balls were excellent but were only served on one day. The reception, cleaning and breakfast staff were nice. We had an early flight on the last day and they packed us a lunch box. Some cute cats wandering the pool area were fun to play with. We were given a double room with an extra bed on the 1st floor but the double bed was really narrow and the double and triple rooms are the same size so it got a bit cramped. There was a wardrobe and a balcony with 2 chairs and a table and a convenient rack for drying clothes. A large fridge and kettle were provided but the 'safe' was a tiny old fashioned key thing that we did not try. Decent shower. Airconditioning worked to keep the room comfortable.

We only stayed one night and checked in at 3 am, they have a 24 hr open desk and check in was smooth despite such late check in. Apartment had sea view, was very clean and spacious. The hotel has a large pool and right by the sea side/beach. Overall very nice hotel.

The pool was Beautiful and location right by the beach was great. Walkable restaurants nearby. The bed was ok, I prefer softer. Linen perfect. Very clean, its just an old style building. Balcony with a view of the sea was nice. I would recommend staying there. The welcome and staff were excellent. Very helpful. Lovely breakfast with great variety of choices.

“Ideal for a beach getaway!”

It was the perfect location as it was directly on the beach. You could choose from being by the pool or being by the sea. It was also easily accessible using the bus, and it was in a nice area with many different restaurants to choose from. The staff were also super helpful and welcoming.

Great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everyday cleaning, all premises are very clean.

“It was amazing and relaxing”

There are so many hotels in Heraklion but the Akti Corali stood out as being one of smartest looking choices and with affordable rates. Room was clean and the property in general was well kept and looked after. There was a clean smell that was very reassuring. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Cleaners were terrific and nothing was too much trouble. Daniella and Anna thank you for making us so welcome. We arrived early hours of the morning by taxi and we're welcomed with a smile. Breakfast was exceptional and varied.

“The pool was the highlight!”

We were provided with fresh towels and the room was cleaned every day. The air conditioning worked well and everything in the bathroom worked as it should, including plenty of hot water. The pool was excellent, big enough to have a proper swim in, and there was always staff at the pool bar to served drinks. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the first floor and the balcony faced the sea. The breakfast was a generous mix of hot and cold foods, buffet style. The location was excellent, at the edge of the Amoudara resort and on the bus route to Heraklion, only 2 Euros each way.

“Wonderful staff & very kind”

Great location for getting to and from the airport and fantastic staff - everyone was super friendly and caring. Delicious breakfast, too! I really appreciated how willing the staff members were to help - at one point during my stay, a man on a road nearby passed out from the sun, and when I came back to the hotel to ask for help with calling an ambulance for him, one of the men at the front desk came with me to check on the man and to make sure the ambulance knew where to come (which I really appreciated given my lack of Greek). It was very kind, and made a stressful situation much better (for both me and for the man who passed out).
