Now this all depends on what you want. If you're after modern western-style then stay up the hill in the new city. If you're interested in the hustle and bustle, and also the frankly rougher edges of the old city, and being able to tumble out of bed and walk up hill one way to the Citadel, and the other way to Rainbow Street, and right next-door to the Nymphaeum, and along the road to the Amphitheatre.....and mix it up with local people in the markets and cafes. This is a good hotel, but don't expect the Hilton!!

The hotel is in a perfect spot: all the main sights were close by, but it was still quiet and calm inside. The rooms are cozy, clean, and great for relaxing after a busy day. I was there in early January, and the heater worked very well – the room was always warm, and there was always hot water for a shower. All the staff are really nice, friendly, and kind. They always meet you with a warm smile and make you feel welcome right away. A special big thank to my guide, Hassan! He made my trip an amazing adventure. He listened to what I wanted and made a perfect plan to see everything from the North to the South of the country. I saw all I dreamed to see. Hassan is not just very good at his job, he's also a really nice person and felt like a friend on the trip. I definitely recommend this hotel and Hassan as a guide – everything was just perfect.

Excellent location and very kind and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay at Khan Khediwe. The location is amazing, a few mins walk to the Romans Ruins and a short 10 seconds away from the local market. We really felt we were in the heart of a new culture to us and enjoyed it. The people of Jordan sense of hospitality is top notch!

Great hotel in the city center, 5 minutes walk to the Roman Theater. Very friendly staff, good diverse breakfast on the top floor with the city view, free valet parking. Wi-fi was working good. We were welcomed at night.
