In the past 15 years I travelled a lot in Israel and the First Light Cabins are definetely among the best places I stayed at. The Cabins are very well maintained, very clean, offer a lot of privacy and have a superb view to the Sea of Galilee. The host, Shalom, is very charming, generous and helpful. The whole place and the village is very peaceful and inspiring. In the neighbor village of Shefer you find a very good Fallafel-Stand. Very good hiking in the area (e.g., Nahal Amud, Parod Falls, Mount Meron).

This is our third time in this amazing place! It has an in room Jacuzzi, a heated pool, and a real fireplace. It just feels like the owners tried thinking of everything - it is very comfortable, and they took care of the small things: providing wine, coffee, chocolates, fruits and cookies. While the place is by no means central in Israel and a car is a must, it is well placed to see Israel's northern area and the Golan heights. Highly recommended!

The pool was clean and warm, The room was very clean, including the bathroom and hot tub, The room is pretty big for 2 people, The hospitality of the owners was great, they even include wine, fruits, milk and some cookies as a welcome gift. The breakfast is great as well! Even though there was other visitors in the place we didn't even knew because of the privacy that this place allows. This was much better than expected, we loved the place and would definitely come back!
