Located 10 km from Coulommiers and set in a property built in the 15th century, La Ferme de Fontenelle is a guest house surrounded by a large garden with a terrace. La Ferme de Fontenelle was an exceptional place to stay! It is a farm and in a quiet remote location so it is great if you want some peace and quiet. There are some nice walks to do as well. It is good to have a car, however, getting a taxi was fine you just have to pre-book, which was easy. The room and communal areas are designed with so much character and elegance. Everything was perfect in the room, very clean and a lovely huge walk in shower, plus lots of natural light in the bedroom, we could see the sun rising from our room. I came here with my cousin for a wedding near by in Choisy-en-Brie so it was the perfect location. We enjoyed the communal games room to play pool, or sit and read a book, and the kitchen/dining area was wonderful. There is also a swimming pool. I used the outdoor seating near the front entrance to read, and it was a nice way to start the day seeing the lovely nature. The continental breakfast was superb, amazing croissants, many different varieties of fresh bread, cottage cheese, juice, coffee and fresh fruit. Delphine was a wonderful host, very kind and organised, we would definitely recommend this peaceful place and would stay again without hesitation.

Great. Large room. Large bathroom. Super breakfast. Enough space. It was shame that we spent only one night. Kids didn´t have enough time to full enjoy play room. ( our late check in and early check out )
