Our hosts Julia and Andy were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their area and shared recommendations for best places to go and things to do. Their location in Amesbury is very good indeed. Amesbury village is only approx a 10 minute walk up the road which is worth a little visit as here is full of history and its within an easy travelling distance from Stonehenge (approx 10/15mins) and Salisbury town (approx 20mins). We also visited Longleat Safari which was approx 30 mins travelling also before heading back North. Accommodation itself catered for everything we needed as a family with ample space and privacy. Our hosts were very caring and offered a number of their home garden facilities and games which were all available to us. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore and venture.

“Lovely cottage and hosts”

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The hosts welcomed us warmly and were incredibly helpful throughout. The cottage, along with the sheets and towels, was spotless, and they had thoughtfully prepared everything we needed for breakfast the next morning. The property connects to the owners’ house through a beautiful garden, which they generously allow guests to enjoy — it truly feels magical and peaceful. There’s even a tennis court, and when my son wanted to play, they kindly provided rackets and balls. The location is fantastic too, just a 10-minute drive from Stonehenge. Highly recommended!

“Perfect accommodation”

Everything was in place: a complete kitchen outfit, a large living room, and good quality beds. There is a large garden for kids to play and for the parents to relax. The village shops and a large playground are on walking distance.

Our stay at Robin Hill Cottage was a dream: it's in a fantastic location, close to both Stonehenge and the small town of Amesbury with its pubs, small shops, and supermarkets. Julia welcomed us warmly and even took us to the solstice. Her husband also told us a lot about the interesting excavations, as this place is truly a historic region. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything our heart could desire. We will definitely come back. Thank you, Julia!

“I recommend this wonderful place”

We were wonderfully welcomed by our host, he also showed me his amazing collection of artefacts found on his property that pre date Stonehenge and I absolutely enjoyed that moment and our talk. He advised us to go to the Bridge for good food and so far that's the best food we ate in Uk! The cottage was spotless, very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed very much our stay at Robin Hill.

“Ideal for a long stay to make the most of a great place”

Julia and her husband are very welcoming, watching over our well-being and ready to tell us the archaeological history of the place, in connection with Stonehenge which is nearby. The garden available to us is magnificent, with, in addition, a tennis court which delights our teenagers! We stayed 7 days (too little time, unfortunately!) to fully enjoy the place, explore Wiltshire, and walk in the surrounding countryside. We also benefit from all types of shops and restaurants in the center of Amesbury, a 5 minute walk away.

Wonderful hosts in a beautiful little village. Breakfast was provided in the cottage, which we enjoyed at our own terrace. The cottage is amazing, exceeded out expectations. We fully enjoyed the stay. Great location to explore Stonehenge!
