The property is best located near university campus and very good for stay when you visit IOWA university for any purpose.

The remote to the tv didn’t work and the only way to fix it was to switch rooms which we did. The faucet hot/cold were reversed in the second room we went to.

Location was easy to get to what we needed

Booked 2 rooms with Priceline. Radisson couldn’t find reservation. Priceline and Booking.com (outsourced customer service for Priceline) had incorrect phone number and email address for Radisson. Priceline outsourced the problem, so according to their protocol, they didn’t need to help. Booking.com couldn’t address the problem because according to their protocol, they needed to be able to reach the Radisson directly in order to fix, but then again, if Booking.com had had the correct contact information for the Radisson in the first place, then the Radisson would have had my reservation and there would be no problem to resolve. I suggested that Booking.com simply look up the contact information for the Radisson on the internet, but protocol demanded that Booking.com be permitted to continue to call the incorrect number for 30 additional minutes. Booking.com said that after 30 minutes they would send me an email with approval for a different hotel. 60 minutes later I still didn’t have an email, so I called Booking.com again. After waiting, and explaining, Booking.com did send an authorization email, but they sent it for just one room, not two. Called again, and waited online for another 45 minutes while they got authorization for 2 rooms. Radisson not blameless either. Some poor kid was left working at the desk by himself on a Saturday night in a college town after a football game. At one point he called his manager on speaker phone, and I was told that protocol dictated that I work it out with Priceline directly, despite the fact that I had confirmation emails from Priceline, despite the fact that the Radisson had rooms, and despite the fact that I had been sitting in the Radisson’s lobby for hours with 3 hungry and tired kids. In the world of business, I can appreciate the value of processes and procedures (i.e. protocol), but perhaps Priceline, Booking.com, and the Radisson need to be reminded that they aren’t selling widgets, they are providing shelter.

The staff! There are not enough words to describe their hearts, generosity, kindness, and smiles. Every single one of them that work at this location deserve a raise because they are making that hotel have the rating it does!
