“Beautiful rooms”

Fantastic property. Very well equipped and beautiful. Loved the 2 koalas on the property. Lots of little touches that made our stay very comfortable.

The cabin was extremely clean . I loved how much effort was put into decorating the place and detailed attention was put towards the amenities.

Victoria and Robert are the best hosts. Although these are self service cabins, They are very attentive to the needs of guests, offering help in the kindest way. My family and me had an accident on the island. Luckly, no one was seriously hurt. Robert picked us from the hospital and later sent us to the ferry. They have traveled around the world, and definitely know what travellers need. The cabins are well located, well equipped, clean and comfortable. I wish everyone who stays in the cabin a very happy experience.

“Awesome quirky comfy place to stay.”

It was a clean comfortable spacious fully self contained unit. The bed was especially comfortable and large which was great because my partner is 6 foot 3 and beds are often too short for him. We slept well here and the attention to detail and all the quirky fish themed decorations added to the experience. We found the resident Koala. It was close to the waterfront and walking trails and to some restaurants. And the check in was straight forward. I’d definitely stay here again

As a 30plus year fisherman both recreationally and commercially I’ve found my dream place to stay. I travel all across South Australia for work and these cabins are the perfect mix of a fisherman’s dream and modern comfort. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. Every intricate detail from the decorative furniture to flooring features and even little fish cookies in our coffee cups. It’s absolutely stunning. I’m obsessed and will be back for a longer stay. 1000 stars out of 10 !!!!

I have a very high level of expectation re places I stay and I NEVER give a 10/10 but this accommodation is exceptional. The layout, level of cleanliness and facilities of the actual cabin; the hospitality and warm, welcoming nature of the hosts and the location itself (including resident wild koala and glossy black cockatoos) was outstanding. We wish we’d been able to stay longer and we hope to return. I highly recommend.

When I entered the unit, I found it to be the cleanest, neatest & tidiest & best smelling accommodation I’ve ever paid money for. Loved that there were koalas in a huge gumtree on the property.

It was very peaceful and quiet. Nice to sit and relax. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. It was spotlessly clean. We didn’t meet Victoria but she was also communicative and helpful. Loved having the resident koalas in the tree near our room.

Hosts were generous and accommodating, with excellent communication. The room was well-appointed, with all we needed for a long stay, and decorated perfectly. A quiet location, close to walking trails and fishing spots. Other highlights were the koala family living on the property and the Glossy Black Cockatoos close by. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a quiet escape.

We love the easy check-in, and the accommodating to our arrival time. Equipment is simple but convenient, and we like the quirky internal decoration. House is very clean. We also love the koalas in the garden tree and we formed a daily habit to check where they were.

“Comfy and clean cottage in a quiet location”

A clean, quiet and comfortable cottage with a family of koalas in the front yard! We loved the theme and provisions of some essentials like tea, coffee, milk. The communication was excellent also.
