“Know what you get and it is great valie for money”

This place is literally hanging on to dear life! It’s in desperate need of a full renovation, the signs of decades of use can be seen everywhere. However, having stated this crucial aspect, management and staff definitely make it work! The place is clean (look past the wear and tear marks), everything works as should, the pool is lovely and clean, staff are absolutely amazing and provide a stellar breakfast! Honestly, the price is very much acceptable for what you get. Good value for your money. Knowing what you’re going to get, I would recommend booking as it’s downright acceptable.

Staff is helpful, location is good. Beach just in from our room.

Our room was filthy. Stained sheets, broken and noisy aircon. Broken furniture. The bathroom was disgusting 🤢🤢🤢. We left 20 minutes with no refund. The photos online were nothing like the room we were given. It was awful.

Taman Villa is perfectly located to welcome you in Amed. Wayan is the head manager of the structure and he is a very kind and caring person. He is coordinating activities you may want to do.

No road noise, nice staff, good value, comfy bed., next to beach.

It's a beautiful quiet location with an impressive pool and super close to the beach and decent shops. The staff are really friendly and accommodating and this is such a great place to relax and enjoy the views of the hills and the Rice terrace in the garden

“No WIFI coverage for three nights from hotel at all !!!!”

The location was quiet and the pool very clean and nice. No wifi coverage from hotel so don’t rely on it !!! Don’t book the two beach front rooms as smaller compared to the row of rooms which were much roomier plus huge bathrooms. Hot water came out of the bath shower but not the proper shower . We didn’t eat breakfast there and only ate at RIMBA cafe which was terrific .

“Quiet, basic stay in a small resort.”

It is very quiet. Located right on the water’s edge with a rice paddy (disused) next door. It is far enough away from the road that it was very peaceful. The room and bathroom are large and there was enough space in the bedroom to put my yoga mat down. It was pretty clean but I did not have anyone clean my room while I was there. There is a little kitchen next to the room that has a fridge, gas cooker and very basic kitchenware. There is an unfinished room at the front that of course was unoccupied, so I was able to sit on the sunbed in the early morning and watch the sunrise. A very peaceful place.

The room was extremely comfortable and so clean. The bathroom alone was as big a normal hotel room and the beautiful beach and pool were a huge plus. Garden setting, amazing location, great staff. Fabulous daily breakfast and wonderful to rent your own scooter to do what you like, when you like. There's even great snorkelling right off the beach at the hotel :)

The room is outdated and very dark and so is the bathroom. The air conditioning was barely working also. It has potential to be good but it doesn't seem like they do much to enhance the customer's experience

“Dirty, bad location and unhelpful!”

The bed was comfy and the pool was nice over looking the sea and rice fields!

“Poor care”

The reception was very bad, I am especially talking about the man of the house he was not nice at all. This is the main reason why we had such a bad experience. Also the bed sheets were dirty (blood look alike stains, moisture, …), we had to ask three times to make them change !

Location by beach. Female staff at hotel very sweet and woke up early to make us breakfast as we had an early start. Also, nice welcome drink on arrival.

It’s has a great location with the mountains on one side the sea the other side. In front is a lush green rice field. The pool is big enough for good long swims. The staff is helpful when asking but not really pro active. Like the table cloth didn’t got changed after there were marks on it.
