This is a very nice place to stay in Amed. The family is very friendly, they serve good breakfast every day. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is great too - only a few minutes drive to the dive centres. We loved it and would definitely come back!

I have never felt so welcomed and looked after, the owners are truly wonderful. The room was clean, spacious and had a huge balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. I was offered, snorkelling, fishing and the hiring of a scooter at very good rate compared to in town 😊 breakfast was delicious and my highlight was singing karaoke with the owner, can’t beat a good old sing song. I will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely stay ❤️

“Nice place”

ienjoyed my stay here. The owners are very kind and the breakfast is exquisite. The banana pancake and the fried eggs were my favorites, and I highly he place is close to several restaurants, cafés, and hotels where you can eat or get a massage. It’s also just a 15-minute walk from Jemeluk Beach, which I loved. You can also go down to the beach right in front to swim and snorkel, which is one of the top activities in Amedrecommend both. The bedroom was spacious, so my family and I felt comfortable the entire time.

My room had the most beautiful view of the ocean and I could see the sunrise perfectly from my balcony! It’s about a 5 minute scooter ride to the main part of Amed. I loved the location for the costal cliffs and beautiful views of the volcano. Made and her husband were so accommodating and kind: made me feel so comfortable and made sure I had everything I needed. Great hospitality and great people. Felt very safe here as well as a solo woman travelling. Will definitely be coming back just to see Made and to stay at this beautiful family owned hotel :)

Big comfortable bed with fans and AC. Great view with a chilling area from each room's terrace. Delicious homemade breakfast. The loveliest couple, Made and Ketut, attentive and ready to help if you need anything.

As many previous reviewers have said the owners are absolutely lovely and will genuinely make your day everytime you chat to them. Great location and view from the balconies. Excellent breakfast! Ask for the Bali pancake. It was delicious.

“Wonderful place”

Maré and her husband made me feel like home in this beautiful tropical garden. Location is perfect and it is quiet! Amazing view and good breakfast. Also you can rent scooters it's very practical!

Location is a little bit out of the center, but with the motorbike everything is close. By foot you are also very close to the center beach. The room has an amazing view of the sea and to the sunrise in the morning. It's a sweet small house with a room, a bathroom and a nice balcony. The best thing about the accommodation are the owners who are really friendly, helpful and kind. And Made is such a positive, funny and happy woman! :)

“Best spot to stay in amed!”

Everything was AMAZING in our stay. If you are planning to visit Amed this is the place to stay. View is amazing but the family we stayed at was the best, we felt at home and did not want to leave. Breakfast was the best! The garden with all the different flowers, the sunset view WAUW. It was about a 2min walk from the beach, you have food spots, supermarkets in walking distance. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful spot to stay this is it!

Run by very lovely family, they are really great hosts 🫶🏻 The room is very simple but has everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. Amazing view of the sea from the room. Great value for the money.

“Exceptional rooms with fantastic views.”

This was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were fantastic. Extremely spacious, comfy bed with mozzie net arouind, with far reaching views out to sea. Lots of high quality furniture, with plenty of places to store things. There is outside table and chairs and aslo an extremely comfortable bamboo sunlounger, with a very deep.thick padded, seating cushion. It is oppopsite a very good beach for snorkelling but Jemeluk is only a short walk away. Just past Bunutan in the other direction is Lipah, which also has a lovely beach for snorkelling. If you take the lane on youir right, immediately before the river in Bunutan, this will take you along an intersting leafy lane. At the junction at the end, turning left will take you over the river to the main road, back down to Bunutan, but if you turn right at this junction, this will take you past a huge white elephant god statue. Continue following this lane upwards and you will gradually see more spectacular view down to the coast. A few rice terrces on the way. Definitely worth the climb. You could go part way by bike but then the path becomes too steep and rocky. Sinar Bali 2 is definitely in as good position for lots of exploring. There is a choice for breakfast and I particularrly liked the two fried eggs on toast. They also give free water bottle refills which is a huge bonus. The owners are lovely and extremely welcoming and very friendly and helpful. They even insisted on giving me a lift to my next destination, another area of Amed, a couple of miles or so away, which was very much appreciated.
