“Family run retreat in stunning rural Amed”

Owners Luh and George were so friendly and helpful, ensuring our family had the most wonderful stay. We stayed in the family house which was ideal for us and offered a beautiful view of the spectacular sunrise. We enjoyed our breakfast and some lunches and dinners here as well as nearby restaurants, which were all brilliant. The Japanese wreck is moments away as well as lots of other local snorkelling spots. We would love to return here next time we are in Bali!

This place was paradise. The location is amazing and the views are panoramic ocean and mountains. The gardens are beautiful. The whole place has so much character. Ni Lhu’s cooking was great! The perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.

the property itself is amazing, great gardens, restaurant with view, breakfast is good, more variation than most places ( including fried vegetables, fried rice) . huts are nice with good bathrooms. location is nice- close to wreck. ( snorkeling) the lady running the place is absolutely lovely.

The loveliest staff! The location is away from most things so it’s quiet. There are some lovely Warungs within walking distance. Right across the road from the Japanese shipwreck, you can rent snorkels and fins through the hotel. They help you rent a scooter and also offer laundry services for a great price. The owners are full of great recommendations of places to go (please go to Lahang Sweet whilst you’re there!) The free breakfast is amazing! I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough, we extended our stay because we didn’t want to leave!!

Fantastic location to watch the sunrise over Lombok, a very nice pool area, just tripping distance to the Japanese Ship Wreck Point dive site, Eka Purnama provides great value for money for couples and families. Good food at the cottages but I would also recommend Ibus Sea View and Green Melon Warung for dining options within walking distance.

We went to freedive the Japanese Shipwreck and this place was just over the road from the steps leading to the beach so excellent location. George, the owner was also able to put us onto Made who runs the dive rental place on the beach and Made was a great source of local dive information. He also supplied the weights for our weight belts. The Balinese staff of Eka Purnama are happy to cater to every request but sometimes have difficulties communicating and don't quite understand what you mean when you're speaking English. But no big deal - it's THEIR country, not ours and how many of us can speak Balinese?

The view is simply breathtaking, the staff is super nice, the food is good, the massage is great, the pool is good. We really liked the ambience and the family atmosphere here. A place to switch off. If Amed then definitely come back here 😍
