Fantastic stay here - Gede the owner was so friendly and helpful, and always available via whatsapp if you needed anything. The breakfast included was lovely too. Great room, nice and clean with good air con & ceiling fan. Also a mini fridge and tea & coffee facilities. You can also use the communal kitchen if needed. Pool was kept clean and the location was quiet but still close to everything. The rooftop views are stunning! Great value for money, would definitely recommend if you want a budget place to stay in Amed to relax!

Really nice place, owner really kind. Swimming pool was warm during the night, best to take a rest before to sleep.

The location is great, very close to the centre yet very quiet. The staff managing the place is lovely and very kind, ready to help you and make you happy. WiFi is also very good

Made very helpful and friendly organised scooter and transport. Villa very relaxing and clean and cared for. In a quiet spot. Would recommend if travelling on a budget.

Comfortable room with excellent hot shower. Lovely deep pool if rather over chlorinated. Simple breakfast provided by helpful friendly and informative hosts.

“Ideal for diving with Fun dive”

Location for the dive we had around the corner. Pool looked nice but we didn’t get to use it. Staff member made our breakfast a little earlier than usual so we could enjoy before our 7am dive

The place is very comfortable and in a Bali fashion quite well designed, I'm a little over the Bali Outdoor showers at this stage, they seem to attract the mosquitos, which then get into your bedroom when you use the facilities. Kadek and Komang who run the place are both lovely human beings, and enjoyed every encounter with them, I was happy to swap to a ground floor unit right next to the pool after the first couple of nights, because the steps leading upstairs are steep in the general Bali fashion.

Blue gecko is laid back. Its not a touristic party villa. Like me, other people have stayed here to write. Its away from the main drag and yet as few minuets from the beach and town.

The area is very rural but we like that because it is calm. Above our room was a huge rooftop where we could see a lot of shooting stars. It was amazing lying on the rooftop and looking in the sky.

Super cozy place with beautiful bathroom And super nice smelling soap. 😁 There is fridge, A/C, spacious wardrobe and teapot with tea. Everything smells very nice in the room. Breakfast also very good and hearty. Place in A quiet place And There is good cafe to eat near - KopiKota Amed

“Quiet place to enjoy your holiday”

Location was a little bit out of centre, but I loved walking on the beach and meeting locals. The host was super nice and did everything to feel welcome. Organised tours, trips and also helped with urgent situations. Everything clean, nice, good pool, amazing roof top view. Wake up for sunrise- it’s perfect on the roof. And if you are lucky, blue gecko will meet u at night 😀😀😀😀

Great staff, happy to do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible Very quiet. Location out of town meant little noise during night. Lots pf very effective mosquito netting around bed, windows and doors.

“Clean Villa and great Manager (Gede)”

Gede, the manager, was extremely friendly and super helpful! The villa was amazingly clean. Be aware though there is no cafe/restaurant on site, however it must be close by as Gede was soon back on his scooter will 2 very cold Bintangs. There is a menu available to order from. There is a shared kitchen, and the living area is a balcony. We originally booked for one week, but left after one night as the situation didn't suit us, but would be great for many.

The manager Made and staff were friendly and so helpful, nothing was to much trouble. It is a cosy hotel with only four rooms, from the roof you can see Mt Agung the volcano one way and the beach the other. In the morning you can also see Lombok. Blue Gecko is off the main road and is very peaceful and quiet. Lovely breakfast and a great place to just chill out and relax. it is only a six minute walk to the beach, many restaurants close by.
