The breakfast was good. You get an egg choice/fruit plate/ tea or coffee/ fruit juice. Served to your room at a time of your choice. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We enjoyed a meal with them and had great conversations. Very friendly and happy to help. The room was large and quiet. Beds are comfy. If the price matches your budget, this is a great spot to stay for a night or two while you visit Amed.

In reality, this place is even cozier than in the photos. Everything is new and clean. The room is large with high ceilings. The bed is big and comfortable, with nice bedding. The air conditioner works very well and is positioned perfectly - the cold air doesn’t blow directly onto the bed or the workspace. There is a good hairdryer and a small refrigerator. The bathroom is also very comfortable: the shower is separated from the toilet, which helps keep the floor dry. There are two large mirrors. You can choose dishes for breakfast. The breakfast is filling and tasty. Near the room there is a small private terrace with a table, chairs, and a drying rack. The staff are very friendly and polite. The location is convenient: there are many cafés and small shops around, and there is a good beach access not far away.

I'm glad I chose Amed Permai Home Stay Ketut and the ladies there were so friendly, helpful and very flexible with their service, the room is super clean and very comfort bed, which I really needed after a long day studying my Free dive course. The location is also next to nice and with high rate restaurants so you can just enjoy around.

Exceptional stay in Amed at Permai Home Stay, which though called a homestay, is actually quite luxury especially for the price. The staff are all incredibly kind and welcoming, providing a great varied breakfast served at the the requested time on your porch, or a breakfast box for early days of diving. I also rented a decent scooter for a fair price. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Amed, and will definitely be back on my next stay.

It was a perfect place for a visit in Amed. The room, location and the owner Ketut and his staff made such a great job helping and proving anything we needed. We booked for three nights, and extended with two more nights because of Amed and Amed Permai Home Stay which were just amazing. The location is just a 2 minutes walk away from the beach, and has a beautiful view to the volcano Agung. Thank you very much Ketut for your hospitality and for helping with buying the ingredients for Dadar Gulung. We would definitely come back next time we visit Bali.

“Perfect place to stay!”

-spacious room and bathroom, very clean -delicious breakfast, delivered up to your terrace. Always on time -location is perfect. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Plenty of beaches for snorkelling as well -staff is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay even more perfect. We rented a motorbike (fair price and good condition) and they organised taxis from padangbai to Amed and Amed to Ubud to an absolutely reasonable price. We felt like at home and it was one of the best stays we had during our 4 week Bali trip. Don’t look further, just book it! Thank you Ketut and Team!
