Overview
Rooms at Hotel Sonne feature panoramic windows with a view of the Glarus Alps. The hotel is just 4 km away from Walensee Lake and Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The chairlift is 150 metres from Sonne Hotel and Weesen is 4.5 km away. From there guests can take a hiking tour to Seerenbach Falls, located above Betlis, on the northern shore of the lake.

“Amden, where relaxation goes to holiday”
The view from the room across the hills to the mountains was fantastic. The serenity, when the only thing you hear is the core bells and the birds is so relaxing Only a couple minute walk to the chair life to get up the mountain for hiking or skiing or a nice hike down the mountain to the lake The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating

“Excellent hotel-restaurant”
The beds were tiptop, the food at the restaurant was amazingly good, I was surprised to see only me and my son for two nights in a row in a restaurant of that quality. The view of our room was breathtaking, and the shower iwas really good. Very friendly and helpful staff
