This is a great place that you should definitely visit again. The view from the house is beautiful, and the building has a unique design. I felt like I was part of a beautiful forest. However, everything becomes less important without good service. The man who met us was very hospitable and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

“Amazing experience and exceptionally kind host”

The host Vassily is a man of exceptional and unforgettable kindness. He offered flexible checkin and checkout, helped to book the bus from Tbilisi and then taxi to the airport and offered food and wine (and very tasty tea also), and his friend showed us the surroundings. We just left him a few hours ago and are already planning our return. Such hospitality is very impressive and touching.

A great glamping very close to Ambrolauri, but at the same time in a quiet place. Tremendous views both, day and night. You’ll stay in a huge, spacious tent. It’s not a hotel of course, but it’s kept very clean, which to me personally is a top priority wherever I go. Inside you get pretty much everything you may need, and most importantly a fully functioning aircon to cool and heat it up (we needed both, depending on the time of the day). Vasiliy is a great host and will make sure you feel welcome. I recommend ordering breakfast too - traditional Georgian, cooked by Vasiliy’s mother.

Gorgeous views - fresh fruit from the trees - still and peaceful. Vaseli and his family were perfect hosts. They cooked delicious traditional Georgian breakfast and dinner. We were very well looked after.

“Gaumarjos!”

Private glamping tent with minifridge, kettle, bathroom, and comfortable bed. Only one other glamping tent on site so you feel very secluded. Very beautiful region that is mainly travelled by Georgians themselves. We felt like we were experiencing an authentic hidden gem in Georgia. THE BEST THING about the glamping experience at Elsesi is the owner Vasilli. What a legend! You can either choose to spend time with him and enjoy some wines or find you own way around in this beautiful region. If he is around during your stay and you want to experience the warmth and generosity of the Georgian people, look no further. Vasilli 10/10.
