The highlight of our 9 nights stay in a "warrior appartement " were the meals , which we took in a separat dinning hut. Mr Brian , the chef. served a a nice rice breakfast ! In most cases the lunch was just OK , and the dinner was sometimes excellent and sometimes average. After l complained about cold soupes for dinner , they were served nice and hot ! Mr. Tom showed me around the enviroment , where we spotted Giraffes , Zebras , Gazelles and warthoges on a 2 hour walk. As well Mr. Brian took us out on a wild-life hike. It, s possible to rent a 26 inch bike for riding the roads around the camp , if they were not in too muddy condition... The nights were quiet , sometimes a fire was lit at the fireplace in the camps center.

Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience.

We loved this place (it is community owned ) & run by the Maasai people so has a very authentic vibe Such a relaxing friendly helpful place to spend time around pool & fire pit. Food was freshly cooked & delicious we stayed 3nights enjoying the morning & afternoon walks in nature spotting wildlife If you arrive by train arrange for some one to pick you up from Emali . Hut accommodation was small but very comfortable for two & very attractive location & ambience 10/10

The staff are very nice and friendly. They were very supportive. We had a nice afternoon walk, and Tom was very knowledgeable about the species around. We had a nice conversation with him about the Masai people and their culture.

Although a bit off the beaten track we think it’s a bonus as our highlight was definitely the nature walks with Kwenia, he is so knowledgeable and everytime we went for a walk we saw animals, zebras, antilopes, ostriches and so many giraffes not mentioning lots lots of birds. And unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, different in the evening and morning. Food is also very good and everybody makes you feel at home. We stayed 3 nights but I wish we could spend more time there, we loved our tent, I can’t believe how crispy clean our sheets were! It’s really easy from Nairobi, we took a 1.5 htrain to Emali and we were picked up from the station (30$ for a pick up) I hope to be back.

We have slept in a tent, for three people it was a little tiny, but for two it would be ok. The greatest advantage of this place are people, everybody is very nice, we have had a nice naturewalk with one of the masais. The food was very good.

The staff all local Maasi villagers far exceeded any 5 star friendliness, helpfulness and more, The huge portions of food by chef Brian were o so tasty even with my poor appetite i gorged on every delight, nothing was to much trouble and the evening outdoor fireside company and chats made it even more hospitable, 2 well travelled Sth African guests summed it up beautifully by saying "this is quite the find" its now a facilty for fancy 5 star wanting guests, that what makes it a 6 star

The manager and staff are welcoming and attentive. They work hard to keep the camp clean and functional. The lounge and fire pit are relaxing. Perfect for Nairobians to enjoy a relaxing Amboseli weekend. Check out their SGR package.

Highly recommend! We had such an amazing time at the Simba camp, a truly unforgettable experience. The staff was so warm and friendly, we immediately felt at home. We did two safari walks where we could almost touch the giraffes and zebras, had the chance to visit a real Masai village which was super impressive, went on a safari to Amboseli where we saw many animals, and learned how to play malanga. The food was fresh and tasty, and the camp was nice and green. Thank you Kwenia, Tom and Brian! We hope to come back soon!

My family and I had a great time at Maasai Simba Camp. The safari to Amboseli National Park offered by the team was a spectacular experience that we only can recommend! The food served was delicious and there were plenty of vegetarian options upon request.
