“It would have been good albeit not up to expectations if not for the insect infestation second night”

Location is superb located very close to the entrance to the National Park in a lovely park setting with wildlife such as zebras and other species present in the grounds, and other larger species such as elephants very visible in the immediate vicinity just outside the grounds, much to our delight. The staff were generally very nice and accomodating up to their ability to do so. Breakfast, dinner and packed picnic lunches for days out on game drives were reasonably good and plentiful.

The food was good and varied, staff super nice, and the location is great, right next to the park. You can see Mt Kili from the terrace in front of your room, which is amazing. Sunset with a drink at the watch tower looking at Mt Kili is a great experience.

We enjoyed our two-day stay with the family very much. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The service employee, Moses, informed us about everything possible during every meal and told us a lot about the camp, the fauna, and the animals. Absolutely great service, thank you, Moses! The rooms were clean and tidy, with tent rooms for a truly wonderful safari experience. The gate to the park is right in front of the camp. The camp’s garden has its own animals like zebras, antelopes, etc., that roam freely in the garden – essentially a mini-park. Outside the fence, the property has its own waterhole that attracts various animals. This means you can see elephants and other animals almost anytime. What a dream to start the day with a view of Kilimanjaro and elephants! A heartfelt thank you and greetings to Maasai Mike. He was very friendly and explored the property with us; we had great conversations about animals, the environment, and culture. Thank you, Mike! Highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for the stay.

“Great stay at Kilima Safari Camp”

We had a great stay at Kilima Safari Camp. The location is beautiful with amazing views, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was also very good. It was a wonderful experience staying so close to nature and wildlife.

Excellent stay

I am a tour operator, and this was my third time bringing my clients here. It is truly one of the best places! Very clean and comfortable. I will definitely keep bringing my clients here whenever I am around Amboseli.

Their reception, lodge design ( rooms , lounge , swimming pool, ) staff was amazing, guide quarters was awesome. Delicious food and the very close proximity to Amboseli National Park.

“Very cost-efficient choice, location is good just next to the park gate.”

Kilima is the one which beyond our expectation, especially the service and room! We just stayed one night here, however if next time, I would consider more nights. The room is clean with necessary facilities, we lived in tent 60, the location is perfect to right see Kilimanjaro without any sheltering! You can see mongoose, warthog, lots of birds staying in the camp. Sometimes I also can see ostrich, impala passing by. Restaurant service is also very good, special thanks to John, he provided us a nice memory there! Besides of that, we also did a safari with Kilima, I highly recommend our Guide - Peter, he waited us in the airstrip bring coffee, tea and cookies, we were the only vehicle providing with welcome coffee there. On the way back to camp, he was soooo patient to show us the wildlife of amboseli and waiting us for shooting, also told us lots of knowledge regarding Amboseli and the wildlife.
