The property is beautiful and all the staff are amazing. Esther, who helped us with all our bookings was fantastic. She was very prompt & organised, & made all arrangements seamless. Nicolene at the front desk was very warm and made all arrangements for our checkin & dinner, even though we arrived extremely late. Simon, our safari guide was amazing and tried his best to make sure we spotted a lot of wildlife. Our room attendant, Paul was great. Phillip at the restaurant provided excellent service and also took some amazing pictures for us. They also arranged a bush breakfast and a sun-downer for us, both of which were great!

“Wonderful family experience!”

Staying at the Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli was a wonderful family experience! We chose Amboseli National Park because we wanted to see elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, and we chose this hotel to make our trip even more magical! I won’t spoil the surprise, but everything was perfect—from the warm welcome to the service and the meals. We were traveling as a family with three teenagers and stayed in the beautiful two-bedroom family villa—absolutely stunning! I give it five stars, and if I ever return to Amboseli, I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation! Many thanks to the entire team for your kindness and hospitality!

“A holiday of our dreams”

Exceptional game drives with knowledgeable guides. We were blown away by the sheer amount of wildlife on the drives and bush walk. We were treated to an abundance of animals and birds, and particularly enjoyed being in close proximity with Craig, Amboseli’s biggest tusker. The camp is very luxurious and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after like royalty. Delicious meals prepared to a high standard in the bush and at the camp, evening sundowners overlooking Kilimanjaro, morning sunrises and incredible landscapes, this is a very special place and exceeded our expectations in every way.

“Tranquil, personalised wildlife experience”

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Elewana Tortilis camp for our honeymoon. Gorgeous tents, personalised service, and the same staff all the way throughout the stay made it feel so special. The personal touches in the room, complimentary gift and candlelight dinner related to a honeymoon made the trip extra special. We were lucky enough to see all the animals in the reserve including lion, cheetah, elephants, hyena. The open top game vehicles made it really fantastic to spot all the wildlife. The viewing deck onto one of the watering holes also made it easy to spot wildlife from the Camp. Will definitely come back and recommend to everybody. Special thanks to Simon, our guide, Donald, our waiter and Kimbo, our house keeper.

Hospitality at its best! We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our safari guide, Josef, was extremly knowledgeable and attentive. A beautiful place, highly recommended, it clearly deserves its reputation as the best place to stay in Amboseli.
