Overview
Situated in the heart of the Maasai Land, 20 kilomètres from Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Eco Camp features a restaurant. The daily breakfast offers continental and buffet options. The camp is part of a humanitarian mission started by the organisation InterActions & Solidarity to reduce poverty in the local community. The camp is now directly owned and managed by the community for the community.

Amboseli Eco Camp is located along the road to the main Amboseli gate (roughly a 20-30 min drive from the camp). We stayed in one of the cabins, which are spacious and provide a great view of Mount Kilimanjaro (when there are no clouds). The camp is currently building new accommodations (luxury tents), which promise to be nice. The camp offers good price-quality.

“3 nights of heavenly bliss”
This is a haven of bliss very close to Amboseli national park. Very simple yet so comfortable and attractive for urban dwellers who are looking not just for an escape from mundane city life but also reconnecting with nature. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay thanks to the outstanding service provided by Edna, a young and energetic lady who left no stone unturned to make our stay fabulous.

Very nice area, close to the national park, star full of skies, good breakfast, ok price. At 3.00 am woke up because a giraffe passed just out of my window!

“Great experience with views of Kilimanjaro and near Amboseli park”
We really liked our huts on stilts and had a great view of Mount Kilimanjaro from our balcony and bedroom window. We absolutley recommend to do the bush walk activity. Our Maasai guide was super nice and we got to see a.o. giraffes, zebras, and antilopes from up close. Amboseli National Park is quite close and on the way to the park we already saw lots of different animals. Our tour guide for the park (David Toret) which we arranged through our accomodation has a nice car and he was great - we saw so many different animals in the park (many, many elephants as well). Staff in the camp was great as well. Absolutely recommend!

“Excellent”
This lodge was well organized and the staff there were full of hospitality. The dishes of Mr.Chef were so excellent. Furthermore, you can feed wild monkeys here. The cost-effectiveness was great.
