Overview
Located at the Amboseli National Park, this lodge is 20 km away from Amboseli Airstrip and a 30-minute flight from Nairobi. It offers an outdoor pool and restaurant. The units are carpeted, fully furnished, and spacious with wardrobe, reading table, hairdryers, safe deposit and private balcony. All rooms have a private bathroom with free toiletries. Guests can choose from the American, continental, Halal and vegetarian breakfast options available at the property. They can also enjoy local cuisine at the onsite restaurant. A range of drinks is served at the bar. AA Lodge is the first and only hotel offering DRONES services in Kenya. We give to guests drones to use in the park during game drives for the best experiences. At AA Lodge Amboseli you will find a shared lounge, a business centre and a games room. The property offers free private parking on site. Speaking English, French and Swahili, the 24-hour front desk has staff willing to help guests with their queries. Lodge Amboseli is 240 km from Nairobi and 18 km from Amboseli National Park. An airport shuttle is available upon request.

The lodge provides many amenities and services (pool, animation, etc.) that considering the location are really great. Nice decoration and gardening, everything including the reception, restaurant, etc. built in a traditional style. We liked the food served, considering again the location of the lodge. The cottage where we stayed we found really nice - spacious, again built in a traditional style, it had a safety box, clean. Good value for money compared to the rest of the lodges/camps around. Staff nice and attentive, willing to help.

“Beautiful Grounds, Mediocre Food”
The grounds of the lodge are lovely, but you need to walk to a particular place to see Mt Kilamanjaro, and it's often hidden by clouds. There are monkeys and banded mongoose on the grounds as well as birds. The front desk is frindly and helpful with arranging transportation.

The location at the foot of the mountain was beautiful. The rooms were sooooo spacious, and comfortably furnished with a couch and lots of table tops.

AA Lodge has an incredible location! Just a few kilometres from kimana gate, and with stunning views of Kilimanjaro from across the property! The cottage we stayed at was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. They had a lot of choice in food for each meal and it was very tasty! We saw some beautiful birds and small animals within the property during our stay.

The lodge is conveniently situated just outside Amboseli National Park, although the access road to it was dreadful. The tent that we had was comfortable but had obviously seen better days.

“Great Place to stay near Amboseli Park”
Awesome stay. Had my own large cabin. Very close to the park. Nice pool. 3 great meals included. Friendly staff.
