“A brilliant stay at Studios Soizick - Highly recommended”

Soizick is the ideal host, very friendly and informative. There is a bakery and a Charcuterie within walking distance and a Supermarket about a mile away. The Studio is small but has a sleeping area, small eating table in kitchenette and a good bathroom. There is a terrace where you can sit and eat if the weather is fine. The main town of Amboise is about 10 minutes walk across the two bridges. There is parking in the private road in front of the house. We highly recommend this accommodation.

The garden and table were great particularly when the weather was nice. The view was amazing. It was quiet and close to the train station. It was just a short walk across the bridge to the centre of town.

The location is just perfect, great view and at straight at the Loire. The host (Soizick) was exceptional friendly

“Lovely appartment in Amboise”

Lovely appartment with a wonderful hoste. Fantastic view across the Loire to the Chateaux and 10 min stroll in to the middle of town. Parking on site and quiet location. Bakery and butchers just across the road, supermarket 5 mins walk. Will happily use again. SPOTON!

“Very friendly host and great studio for an ideal stay in the Loire valley”

I was welcomed very warmly by the host and she communicated very well before and during the stay. The studio is compact, but comfortable. It's perfectly situated right on the bank of the Loire river, with (from the patio) a view of the Amboise castle on the other side. You couldn't find a better place from where to explore the Loire valley and its castles, whether by car or by bicycle.

I could not have expected any better a place to stay in for the price. The studio I stayed in was very clean and well kept. Had everything any one could need. The living area had a full double bed to witch I had no problems falling of to sleep. Has also a small kitchen table for 2 people with a little kitchen area that has cabinets, sink, 2 burner stove top with mini fridge. Dishes, utensils, microwave oven, dish cloths and towels as well. There is a small tv, wi-fi, a good size Bathroom with full size bath tub/shower and the sink has lots of counter space. Towels and wash cloths are supplied. Parking area very private. The gate/entrance is at the backside from the main road. The view from this side is amazing to see the Château d'Amboise every time you leave the apartment. I found it to be just a perfect location. I was able to leave the car safely parked just steps away from the property. Just about a 15 minute walk across the Bridge to the Château d'Amboise and just up the road about 400 meters from this Château is Château du Clos Lucé where Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci lived his last years. This is where Leonardo da Vinci died. Spent one full day visiting these two Châteaux. The next day tried to get in Château de Chenonceau, but do to it being a French holiday I just missed out for entrance tickets for the day. Just to many people trying to visit this Château. A bit of advice get to this Château before 12 PM. Earlier the better or book tickets in advance. I did make it to Château de Chambord about 60 minutes from Les studios de Soisick. The photo of Château de Chambord is the largest Château the one with a stone bridge in front of the Château. There is a website for booking a pass to visit something like 5 Châteaux in the Loire Valley. Much cheaper to get the pass for the five Châteaux than paying for each and everyone. I did not know about the pass and spent about close to 60 euros.
