Excellent location in the center of Amboise with secure parking on site. It is a very well equipped apartment. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and still very quiet and peaceful. Nice outside space with table and chairs to enjoy the garden. Hosts made us feel very welcome.

“Lovely accomodation in Amboise”

We have spent one week in Amboise, staying at Les Charmilles. It was the perfect location for me and my family to discover the Loire Valley and I can tell you that Caroline was the most gravious host. The apartment with its two bedrooms was perfect for our family and the terrace is ideal for enjoying meals or a late evening wine. Les Charmilles is literally walking distance from anything in Amboise and really quiet. Loved any minute of it.

We stayed for a week. Loved the privacy and outdoor area, a real plus. An excellent quiet city location with secure parking, which enabled us to walk to everywhere. Caroline gave us a warm welcome and gave lots of useful information for visits, restaurants etc and was on hand if needed. Wonderful amenities and being able to access a film on Netflix on an evening in was a bonus. Well equipped, making stay so easy and pleasant. Loved every minute and hope to stay again.

Great location in Loire valley. Beautiful town with a market twice a week. The apartment was small and perfect for four of us. It was in the grounds of a large family home with great parking, it was leafy and private. Caroline is the home owner and she is warm, friendly and helpful. We could travel to many Chateau’s in less than an hour!

Everything! Specially our host and the comfortable, modern accommodation. Also the garden. We could have stayed longer!

Perfect stay in amboise. Fantastic location just minutes walking from everything important. Apt was high quality finishings and very comfortable. The host gave us a warm welcome and tips for the area. It was super comfortable to do laundry, cook, relax and enjoy the spacious flat and great garden. The only thing is if you have a wide and high car there are two pillars next to the entrance gate that the car could scrape coming in so just be careful when entering and exiting the gate.

A lovely property in a central location. Suited my daughters and I perfectly to explore the local sights. We only wish we had stayed longer. Our host was very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. We hope to return again soon.

“Intimate, cosy and satisfactory”

The perfect location of the accommodation within the town itself and its proximity to all places /castles/ of interest. The feeling of being part of a mansion and still having your privacy; the design of the apartment - ideal for a 4-member family, with more grown-up kids (given the upper floor reached via a 'floating' type of staircase), with just the right space and amenities for a cozy and comfortable stay. The host was very welcoming - available and friendly without being intrusive. The secured parking place - a valuable asset. The entertainment options 'sur place' were also greatly appreciated - the table tennis in particular. :)
