Great well equipped apartment close to the centre of Amboise . Very quiet area that is set inside the grounds of a much larger mansion, with its own private parking right beside the apartment. Only a 8 minute walk to some very good restaurants . The apartment has everything you need , including great air conditioning ( which was a bonus as it was 35 degrees Celsius the 3 days we were there) . The bedding and linens were excellent and the kitchen well stocked if you want to stay in for the night. A nice little outside terrace to enjoy at the end of the day . Great central location to explore the rest of the Loire Valley. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to the Loire Valley.

“A perfect base in Amboise!”

La Cahiers is a beautiful little apartment, beautifully decorated, with everything you need, and within minutes walk of the town centre. It sleeps 2 very comfortably. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom even provides ear buds and face wipes. There are plenty of toilet rolls. The kitchen was well equipped with oil, condiments etc. Everything is immaculately clean, and tourist info provided. It was also very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

The location close to the old town was great. Amboise old town surpassed our expectations with its history. The spacious small house was clean, a good kitchen, the washing machine a bonus and had safe and secure onsite parking

Such a wonderful place to stay. Everything we needed for our 3 night stay was provided. Lots of space, super comfortable, and an easy walk to many of Amboise’s highlights. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Contactless check in that was easy, thanks to detailed instructions with photos. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The location is perfect being a short walk from the town centre which includes shops, bars and restaurants but is very quiet in a private gated location which provided private parking which is unusual for Amboise.

This is a brilliant find for a couple visiting Amboise. You have great access to town, and the apartment has everything you need, including if you need to catch up on some washing for your trip. I would love to come back some day.

Property had good Aircon - very useful for a week of 30+ temperatures. Quiet location, in easy walking distance of boulangerie, shops, restaurants, chateau and the Loire. Well equipped, and parking was fine.

Location was great, we provided the breakfast. We were led to believe that someone would be at the property to meet us. The next door neighbour who spoke very little English had to show us the key safe, we didn’t know the number, or where to park the car. The key safe number arrived about an hour after we arrived by email, but when you don’t have internet, it is difficult to receive an email.
