A lovely well equipped apartment in a fantastic location in the heart of Amboise. The hosts were very attentive supplying lots of information ahead of our visit and lots of personal touches and treats on our arrival. They have paid lots of attention to the needs of their guests. The apartment has an amazing terrace where you can sit and watch the world go by as well as the hot air balloons taking flight in the evening. Amboise is a lovely town with lots of great restaurants to choose from, lots of independent shops and of course the castle. It was a great base for us to explore the surrounding area. Free parking was easily located nearby the apartment. We would highly recommend Amboise and this brilliant apartment and we will definitely return!

Excellent location - literally a stones throw from Main Street in Amboise. very quiet later in the evening though with no disturbances overnight. lovely views over Loire valley and side of Chateau right outside the entrance to apartment Ample sized balcony. lots of little touches such as milk/tea and even bottle wine left out for us. sofa bed was fine to sleep on and main room good too. hosts were easily contactable and helpful.

The apartment is a comfortable size with everything required for an enjoyable stay. The location overlooking the river and only 100 metres from the cafes and restaurants is perfect. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Amboise. It was the best way to finish our holiday in France

I would sum up the host in three words - attention to detail. Nothing was really overlooked. If you do stay here, force yourself up early, sit on the terrace and enjoy the peaceful calm of the environment and watch the Hot Air Balloons inflate and fly away. They do this on the opposite side of the river, left side of the bridge and it is a magical site seeing and listening to them glide over. Seems to be twice a day, sunrise and sunset. Favourite light meal locations, The Shaker opposite the apartment, and the Caveau des Vignerons d'Amboise, in the side of the Chateau wall opposite all the restaurants. Really helpful and welcoming at both locations, Shaker brilliant local beer and both great mixed food boards to snack on alongside the wine and beer. Easy to park for free at the Quai parking just over the road.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and size of the apartment. You could look up and see the Chateau Amboise upon entering and exiting. Walking distance to excellent restaurants and historical sites, such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Chateau. The private Outdoor Balcony was fabulous for relaxing with a glass of wine and hours d’oeuvres. Although there are three sets of stairs up to our apartment … I am in my 70’s and had no problem navigating the climb with two suitcases.

Perfect location. Loved the view and the space. We'll equipped kitchen with lots of extras like coffee, sugar, milk, chocolates and more! The spacious patio was perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing after long days on our feet.

The apartment was great, very spacious inside plus a lovely large terrace overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and good heating. The apartment is very close to the castle and local restaurants and shops. We were able to park close to the front door to drop off our bags and then parked in a free car park nearby. The host was very responsive by text message and kindly provided a bottle of wine and milk which was much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Superb location, close to restaurants, with exceptional view. Balcony is sunny in the afternoons. Apartment very well appointed with everything you need, including coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Free public parking available nearby.
