We stayed in Athos gite - very comfortable and recently modernised. Very central location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Amboise. Excellent private and secure parking.

“Pretty & sweet home”
Such a cosy, clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen ❤️ it is not far to walk to nearby attractions. Hubby was worried when the address did not look right 😅 The receptionist from the hotel personally walked with me to the apartment was a sweet lady who ensured I properly settled down before she left me, very nice of her.

The was a bathroom with a glass wall. So, it was a bit inconvenient for a group of three people haha. We could leave our car at the parking space for a few hours after checking out.

Superb Location for visiting Amboise and surrounds. Secure carpark on site. All the necessary facilities were there for an apartment and it had recently been renovated. Great shower, comfortable bed, new washing machine, new dishwasher, new microwave, new cooktop, new iron & ironing board, great coffee machine etc.

The hotel has not only a excellent location but also a very large parking both safe and free, also spaceous rooms quipped with air-conditioner, microwave oven, electric kettle, refrigerator, and also provided with almost everything that is necessary for everyday life, such as cooking utensils and tablewares, hairdrier, fast WiFi access to Internet and so on.

“Perfect location for exploring the town”
Location is perfect for exploring Amboise. In an area where parking is scarce, to have secure parking on site is a big bonus. We had a full car (we were only staying 2 nights on route to our final destination) and 4 bikes on the roof so we wanted somewhere with private parking and this ticked all the boxes. It was in a quiet area and great bonus of watching the hot air balloons each night at sunset.

“Pleasant stay”
Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Gite was very well equipped and a five minute walk from all amenities. Free secure parking and our own outside seating area provided was a nice touch.
