“A cute, quiet, spacious vacation apartment in a good location near Cros Luce in Amboise”

We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment is centrally located, a few steps uphill to Cros Luce, the castle where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last 3 years of his life. A few steps down the hill, you are in the middle of Amboise, on the street with all the bars and restaurants, with the castle on your right. The parking is a few steps away from the house. The apartment is cozy in a corner. It is spacious, the pictures on Booking.com described it pretty well. The terrace is big. We did not use it, because in October the nights were cool. Kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom is spacious. The apartment is located in a quiet area. Communication with the owner was good. She responded promptly. She wrote in French and we replied in English - but nowadays everything can be easily translated online. The check-in without staff as well.

“Exceptional stay in Amboise.”

Great small and unique house, with its own cave, which is great for cooling off when it’s very hot. Location is excellent, in a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Chantal is an exceptional host, and was very kind in giving us lifts from and to the train station, as taxis are very difficult to find in Amboise. She also seems to have thought of everything you need in the house.

This is one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in. Chantal is an amazing host, the apartment has every amenity one needs, the bed is comfy, it's located 5 minutes on foot from the main square of Amboise, parking is close and for free, yet it's very quiet and it stays cool even on hot days. I can't wait to return one day!

“Well-equipped bungalow in a quiet but central location”

Spacious self-catering bungalow that was well-equipped with all that I needed and more: plenty of crockery, plenty of storage space, etc. The property is located in a very quiet area although very near to the Clos-Lucé, to Amboise Castle and to shops and restaurants. It was only a short walk to attractions but, at the same time, the bedroom was completely silent at night and I could have good nights’ sleep. The bed was comfortable. The landlady was very kind and helpful. She came to fetch me at the train station, drove me to the property in her car and explained everything to me - regarding the property, tourist attractions and amenities.

Great little cottage with it's own cave. Perfect for 2 people. Comfy bed. Lots of towels. Good cooking facilities. Great shower. Easy walking distance Amboise town centre and several Chateaux.. Free car parking nearby(You will need to take account of the multiple one-way roads to get to the cottage). Chantal is lovely, easy to contact with questions and replies very quickly. Would stay again.

“Short walk to everything in Amboise”

The very pleasant owner lives a short bike ride away. She speaks French and English and personally greets you at the house. Location is perfect for walking around Amboise. Highly recommended for one or two people.
