Location. Free parking. Impeccably clean. Well appointed and well equipped rooms. Excellent breakfast. Lots of nice touches like toiletries, cakes, wine etc and the owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful.

The attention to detail eg; tea and biscuits in the room, access to nice skincare, books to borrow. The cooked breakfast in the morning was a wonderful start to the day.

We chose it due to its central location. It was immaculately clean and the room was very comfortable with everything we needed and more. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. A lovely touch was the cake and wine we could help ourselves to.

Friendly and helpful owners, nothing too much trouble. The room was outstanding, even a fridge to chill water etc. Delicious breakfasts and home made cakes. Local information and maps available, owners also very knowledgable and eager to ensure we had the best holiday. The location of B & B is a short walk into the town. Private off road parking.

Janet and her family were absolutely lovely and very accommodating. We loved our first ever stay in the Lake District because of our experience at the Wordsworth guesthouse and all that Ambleside town has to offer. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Information pack was provided in the room. The room we stayed in was fantastic with everything you needed. Thank you - we will certainly be back!

Exceptional attention to detail to make your stay special and comfortable. Very welcoming yet discreet hosts. Excellent quality toiletries,linen and little extras. Teas, hot chocolate, coffee, water, biscuits and fresh milk in your room. Freshly baked delicious cakes and wine to help yourself too after your walk! Excellent top quality breakfast with a good choice for all dietary requirements. Fabulous location for Ambleside town, lake Windermere and local walks.

It was very convenient and had free guest parking. We had a beautifully appointed room where everything had been thought out in fine detail to give maximum relaxation and comfort . We didn’t want for anything. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were extremely friendly and really helpful .We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit again
