Overview
Located in the town of Ambleside, in the heart of the Lake District National Park, these rooms are situated above Stiles Coffee Bar, both featuring views of the surrounding fells. Stiles has two B&B rooms, one double room (Shiraz) and one king-size room (Merlot), one of which has a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the other has a shower over a whirlpool spa bath. Towels, bed linen, toiletries and a hairdryer are all provided. Ironing facilities are also available if required. Both rooms also feature a flat-screen TV with a full Sky-Q package and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in the cafe downstairs, with a range of breakfasts available including the Stiles breakfast (Full English), Vegetarian breakfast, American breakfast, pancakes and more (all included in the price.) Car parking is available nearby in the public car parks, with parking permits being provided upon check-in. Located in the centre of Ambleside, Stiles of Ambleside provides easy access to the cinema, restaurants and local pubs all within walking distance. Access to the lake and the fells is also available on foot.

All the staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. The room was immaculate and complimentary drinks a great touch. The breakfast included was anything you fancy from the menu which is in the restaurant downstairs. This was a great find and definitely recommend. Steve and Pam.

Breakfast was very tasty in the cafe downstairs with lots of options and friendly staff. The Bed and pillows were memory foam and extremely comfortable. The whole room was well kept modern and looked after. Bathrooms were very clean and all fabrics were new and in good condition. Arrived at 3am and access was sorted and easy. Location is great even though the included carpark is 5 min walk away there is disc parking out the front for dropping off luggage etc.

“Unbelievable value”
Wow is all I can say! Probably one of the most generous and giving accomodations that we have ever stayed at. Not one stone left unturned. We honestly felt bad because we feel we got way more than what we paid for! One of the best free breakfasts we have ever had, Free parking only a tiny walk away which didn’t bother us one bit, super super comfortable bed, wine on arrival. Nothing felt like too much to ask. Will absolutely stay here again when in Ambleside. Can understand why their rating is so high. What a vibe 🙌🏼

The room was fabulous lots of little touches to make it feel homely. The hosts had thought of everything. There was a guide to local walks book about the Lakes and they even left two little bottles of Merlot for us. We had the Merlot room. The spa bath was lovely. There was even a fridge. The room was above the Cafe and breakfast was outstanding. We could order anything from the menu and there was no deadline, perfect if you wanted a lie in. The location was great for all the bars and restaurants.
