Beautiful cottage tucked away close to the lake, which you can walk down to. The view from the bedroom window was gorgeous. Super hosts, very knowledgable and every need catered for - even a warming sherry if you wanted. Breakfast was high quality fresh local produce, from continental to full English.

Great location and comfy bed. Direct access to the lake via the property. Good price and brilliant conversation with one of the hosts during breakfasts. Option of continental or English breakfast at preset times.

Stunning cottage overlooking the Lake. Bedroom and Dining Room had fabulous views . Steeped in history and items from the owners made the interior very interesting. Easy parking , surroundings were beautiful with easy access to lakeside.

Location is amazing and the hosts were exceptional! We loved our walks and the ferry to Bowness can be reached via a lovely 5k walk along the lake, which we highly recommend. The view from the room was beautiful and from the breakfast room was breathtaking. The cottage is filled with charm and I can’t recommend it enough. Breakfast spreads were great quality local produce and very tasty.

Great cottage house, all the comfort you need, Liz and Chris are very attentive hosts, the breakfast is generous and well catered. The garden and the view are precious! The room is lovely and the whole place is impressively filled with antiques.

Liz and Chris are extremely approachable and friendly and have an abundance of knowledge about the area. The breakfast was excellent and where possible the produce was locally sourced. Their bed and breakfast is in a beautiful spot, on the quiet side of Windermere. There is easy access to Windermere Lakeside. We went to explore Beatrix Potter's home and the surrounding area. We couldn't have wished for a better location.
