Shepherds cottage is very comfortable, cosy, well equipped with lots of attention to details. We loved watching the lambs and really appreciated the hot tub after a day out hiking. Hawkshead, with lots of places to eat, is a short walk away.

Fantastic location, walking distance to Hawkshead village. We loved being amongst the animals on the farm. The hot tub was great. Amazing views to Esthwaite Water. We loved it so much we’ve booked to stay again!

“A great base for a Lakeland holiday”
We had a delightful stay at Shepherd's Cottage. Nicole and Reuben had thougfully put up some Christmas decorations and an advent calendar with drawers with treats. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped with a lake view. It's an easy stroll into Hawkshead from directly outside the door with other walks - fell and valley - close by. Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston and Windermere are a short drive away. It had everything we were looking for.
