“Right next to bus stop - Had a great stay and Wendy was always very helpful with ideas & suggestions”

All very good, excellent hosts, good filling breakfast, quiet location, comfy room and bed. And very well connected - just 60 metres from the main bus stop! The room could maybe benefit from a small table as I tended to use the floor.

Wendy and Keith were so friendly and incredibly helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast each morning was delicious! I had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was lovely. The hosts were friendly, informative and happy to help with anything. The property is perfectly situated as a base to explore the Lakes and was a joy to come back to after a long day of exploring or walking.

Norwood House felt like a home away from home for our 2 night stay and Wendy and Keith were fabulous hosts. Fantastic location in the heart of Ambleside within easy walking distance to the village and lake, as well as multiple hiking routes. We also had a car parking space included in the room which was very convenient. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a big bathtub which was greatly appreciated after a long day of adventure. Not to mention the full English breakfast which was the perfect fuel to get us going in the morning! Would not hesitate to stay again.
