Overview
Built from Lakeland stone and surrounded by beautiful countryside in the Lake District National Park, this B&B is just a 10-minute walk from the shores of Lake Windermere. Ambleside is only 5 minutes away on foot. Rooms at Lyndale Guest House are elegant and traditionally furnished. Each has a TV, a wardrobe for storage space, and an en suite or private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Lyndale has free Wi-Fi in some rooms, and free public parking is available nearby. A full English breakfast is provided each morning, and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Walkers and cyclists will find numerous scenic routes for exploring the Lake District just outside the building. Overnight storage is available for bicycles. The Beatrix Potter Gallery is only 5 miles away.

“Fab stay at Alison’s Guesthouse”
Lyndale guest house is a fab little find in a great location for Ambleside. Alison is a wonderful host, we asked for an early check in which was no trouble at all. The guest house is spotless and rooms are very nicely decorated with lovely furnishings. A fantastic breakfast was given and the free parking is a truly added bonus. Would not hesitate to recommend Alison and her guest house and would definitely stay again.

Great location close to town. Nice breakfast. Comfy bed. Good shower. Landlady very friendly and approachable. Car park is a few minutes walk away and is done via a permit which also gives access to other car parks in the area. Also give a discount bar code for a number of pubs for food and drink. Very dog friendly.
