Overview
Lacet House is situated in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park. The town is surrounded by mountains and rolling fells, with the head of Windermere Lake less than 1 mile away. The rooms at the property each feature a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities, along with private or en suite bathroom facilities. The owners were really warm welcoming and friendly, and accomodating of our dietary requirements. We were given a huge range of breakfast choices and it was so well located for a couple without a car

We felt so welcome as soon as we entered. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The room was fantastic: clean, good size and the shower/bathroom was excellent. We didn't opt in for breakfast but with we did as it looked and smelt amazing!

Great location for the town with many bars, restaurants and shops within yards. Excellent breakfast and lovely service. The room was very good. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and would highly recommend it.

THE ROOM WAS LOVELY AND COSY - THE SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING. AND THE BREAKFAST IS FIRST CLASS NOTHING WAS TO MUCH TROUBLE. GREAT LOCATION FOR THE SHOPS ETC AND GREAT WALKS.
