“Everything was great”

We loved our stay here! Everything was perfect - the location was very central and close to everything and the breakfast was great. Mandy and Adie are lovely and accommodating people and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to the Lakes!

Mandy and Adie were very warm hosts and made you feel right at home. The location is just a few steps away from the bus stop and the breakfast is amazing.

Welcoming and very friendly

Adey and Mandy were friendly and helpful from start to finish. They helped carry our bags, offered help and advice and served breakfast a little early so I could catch a bus. The breakfast fruit salad with yogurt and home made granola was amazing!

Great facilities, perfect location and elicits breakfast. Mandy and Adie were so lovely and welcoming.

Everything! Our hosts were amazing, very helpful and friendly making sure we had all we needed for a great stay. Breakfast was delicious and our room was extremely comfortable and welcoming. We were able to park our car behind the house and walk to everything in Ambleside. We had two nights so we were out driving around the district most of the time but I loved being able to walk to restaurants and pubs after our busy day and the walk to Stock Ghyll Force was lovely.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Mandy and Adie, our stay at Brantfell House was perfect in every way. The house is immaculately clean and welcoming. The room was comfortable with a well equipped bathroom…especially the very efficient shower!! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Parking was available nearby. Mandy and Adie aim to please and for us everything went above and beyond our expectations. We look forward to a return visit.

Lovely couple running the business, they advised us some local places to check out and restaurants for vegan options. They were very accomodating for vegans and the place has a very cozy, homey feel to it. Also very close to shops etc, whilst being quiet.

Everything! It was a brilliant overnight stay. The hosts were brilliant too.
