Been there before. Simple clean friendly pub with simple but immaculate room facilities.

“A pleasant 3 day stay in Amble whilst visiting coastal Northumberland and Alnwick.”

The room was a good size .Clean with everything you would expect to find tea/coffee facilities etc. The breakfast included cereals and cooked items from bacon/sausage sandwiches to cooked full breakfast which was good. Although it was a bit of a wait.

Very comfortable and incredibly welcoming. I want to specifically mention Sarah, who checked us in; Deborah who served us breakfast and especially Laura who cooked a beautiful breakfast and even came for a check. All a credit to your organisation.

Lovely fresh clean room lovely decor and comfortable .Staff very friendly location excellent also drinks very reasonably priced.

The breakfast was a little disappointing mainly because the bacon and mushroom were over cooked. Location was ideal for us.

Really clean room and shower room. Modern furnishings light and fresh. The landlord and staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, even the regulars in the bar were welcoming and friendly. Great location, it is on the main road and there is traffic noise but this quietens down at night. It is a room above a pub so there is some noise but, again, quietens down when the pub shuts. Great value for money and can't be beaten for friendliness.

Unfortunately the mattress on the bed was as hard as coffin nails, fine if that's what you like but not my idea of comfort. Other than that, spot on.

Great value clan comfortable room, the staff were great, Debs and Michelle particularly made our stay a real pleasure, enjoyed the breakfast too

The room was clean spacious and had everything we needed the only negative thing I would say and it’s not really major was the breakfast time wait. We booked our slot for 8.45 but didn’t get our breakfast until 9.30 we were on a strict timeline as it was my daughter’s wedding day however I could not fault any of the staff at all they were just lovely.
