Spacious and comfortable in a good location. The log burning stove was a lovely cosy feature. The outside area was lovely and sunny.

Modern decor and utilities everything there if you wish to cook. Lovely log fire to use with logs left to use and instructions of where to purchase if you require more. Bedrooms decorated nicely everything provided for with towels and toiletries. Good location very quiet area very friendly residents. Dogs are catered for bed bowls treats. Would definitely recommend and use again when next in the area.

What a find! We were looking for somewhere to base ourselves for a few days in Northumberland and came across Kindly Light Cottage. The property was very clean, well decorated and well equipped - with milk in the fridge ready for us and a hamper of local products. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable and dropped by to check we were OK. The property is deceptively large with a front room with a log burner, dining room and galley kitchen. Upstairs three bedrooms and a bathroom with a great shower. Parking was a bit of an adventure - you definitely cannot park a large car outside the property - and if you drive down to it you may be reversing back, but there was plenty of parking no more than 50 meters away.

Home from home holiday house with a warm and welcoming feeling. Super house, all rooms very inviting, the beds are comfy and cosy. The location was in a quiet street which is perfect for a quiet family getaway. Little extras like milk in the fridge make the difference when you just want to get the kettle on once you arrive. A great house, super clean and very comfortable with an attentive host for any questions.

“A great place to stay in Amble”

This was our second stay. The house was very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. There were many nice touches, such as motion sensor lighting and charming and themed ornaments. The decor throughout was fresh and clean. The living room was very comfortable, with two settees & TV with access to many channels and we were able to login to Netflix and Disney. The kitchen was fully furnished with modern white goods. Clare had provided milk, coffee, tea, preserves and snacks. The three bedrooms were large and very comfortable, with nice quilts and bed linen. Two had TVs. The bathroom was immaculate with a good shower. The location was a short walk from the Main Street, Tesco & the Coop. We were able to park at the end of the narrow street that the house is in. Large communicated really well & access was via a lockbox.
