“Fabulous”
Beautiful setting and home. Lyndal and Steve are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. As did Gin their gorgeous dog. Fabulous breakfast each morning. Nothing was too much trouble. Wish we had booked for a longer stay. Would highly recommend.

“Farm Fantastic!”
Seeing firsthand how much our hosts respect, love, and work hard to care for their land & animals (sheep, goats, ducks, etc...) entrusted to them! They were a great team who welcomed us with gracious hospitality and were glad to involve us in some animal routines at our level of interest & ability, which was very cool! Accommodations where very comfortable and our brief time was enriching. Highly recommend!

“Wonderful experience”
Wonderful hosts who were very warm and welcoming. This is a working farmstead and as such visitors should understand that you will be invited to partake in feeding the young animals- for me, this was a joy. We were offered a vast array for breakfast where almost everything was homemade.

“Best farmstay.”
Fantastic hosts. Friendly, informative, relaxed. We chose to have an evening meal with our hosts. They are great company; serving delicious food straight from their farm.

“Rural oasis”
Rural oasis of calm and tranquility. Lyndal & Steve were great hosts and made us very welcome. Lots of lovely home made treats for breakfast. A real home from home. Even accompanied Steve to evening feeding time for the hens, ducks, hats and sheep.

“Best place we stayed in the whole south island.”
Breakfast was awesome, homemade muesli, spreads, toast, black currant cake! Both were fabulous hosts, we saw how goats and sheep are milked. We got some good tips about nearby places to go and see. The skies were clear, and we could gaze at the stars.

Great breakfast, based on the farms own produce. Very good. I was shown around to see how they tended to the animals, and I was also involved in some small part, like feeding ducks and sheep. Very interesting to learn about farming. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Best stay on my trip so far.

“I hope to visit again and spend more time relaxing there”
More of a farm stay than the usual B&B. Steve and Lyndall were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely relaxed setting and for a townie it was delightful to be hosted on a sustainable farm, and be invited to watch the goat and sheep milking and be told about the farming. Home made soaps were drying, and a cheese making class took place while I was there. Delicious duck egg scrambled egg, home made breads/preserves and sheep milk for breakfast. I wish I had more time there to just unwind.
