“Good location, good food & lovely people”

The location is fantastic, right next to Lokobe nature reserve and there is a great view of the sunrise in the morning. The food is delicious and the menu is varied. The owner and all of the staff are extremely polite and friendly. Unfortunately we were ill and had to cut our stay short, but the owner was very understanding and helpful. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, rustic stay.

The only real issue was the lack of internet access and electricity

Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers.

“Peaceful get-away to disconnect, simple accommodations, good food and very friendly staff.”

Food is great, particularly the Zebu filet with pepper sauce and the Bruschetta were fantastic. The owners are very kind and helpful with any requests you might have. The ocean is right in front of your bungalow - beautiful to wake up and fall asleep to. It's as the name 'coin sauvage' suggests, a rather wild, simple accommodation. If you're into that, it's perfect for detaching from everything for a bit.

Beautiful location Beautiful atmosphere

Theresa, Giuseppe and the welcoming staff really made this experience. The most warm and welcoming people. We didn't speak French or Italian but a lovely young man, Freddo, helped us in English - he really went above and beyond, gentle and kind. This place is perfect if you are looking for a simple but right in the nature kind of trip. Food was great. Rustic family vibe. Will be back to see the lovely hosts again.

Right from check in to check out this place felt the most amazing place in the whole of Madagascar! Teresa the host is such a wonderful gem of a person! She is so warm and welcoming! Absolutely loved every moment I spent in Coin Sauvage! You need to contact them in advance for your arrival time as they get you on their boat from Ambatozavavy village!

Nothing not to like, the location is incredible, the owners and staff amazing, food was great, accommodation fabulous, not a bad word to say.

Coin Sauvage is a beautiful quiet spot right next to the nature reserve. Laurent and Jacques were attentive hosts who organised great food, lovely nature walks and all transfers. Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights so were not able to explore further, but the accommodation and location were wonderful and would definitely recommend.

A piece of heaven. Everything was perfect. Both the sunset and sunrise were stunning, the room is super comfortable and blends perfectly within the surroundings. Food is delicious and generous. You will be welcomed with open arms and will want to stay longer than planned! I know I will definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely retreat, a blissful way to end my one month work trip in Madagascar.

Beautiful location and wonderful accommodation. Very relaxing few days away from the hustle and bustle of Hell-Ville and resets of Nosy Be. Lemurs in the trees directly behind the bungalows most days, which was very special. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.

Great location on a secluded beach next to the jungle. At night you can see wild lemurs from up close in the trees near the hut, which was so cool! The food is very good and every day you have multiple choices.

“Little paradise”

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and enjoy no need to continue your research. La coin sauvage is your next little paradise .. away from the crowd, right on a beautiful sandy beach, next the a protected areas. The accommodation is lovely, the connection with nature is amazing. Excellent food and most of all amazing hospitality. From the moment I step in I felt like coming back to family. The Italian owners are absolutely charming and welcoming. Carlotta is running the place perfectly with a real human touch. I extended my stay since it really feels like a home away from home and I would love to come back one day. Thanks again for everything.
