“Most amazing 6 night stay.”

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. This is the best place I have ever stayed in. The owners instantly make you feel welcome into their home with the perfect balance of privacy. You could talk to both Nadia & Bernard for hours, they are the most friendly hosts you could ask for and go completely above & beyond what you would expect from a host for their guests. Nadia is the best cook I have ever come across in my life. Every meal was insane and she catered for my girlfriend who is vegan without any fuss. She makes the best dishes for breakfast / lunch / dinner / cocktails. Bernard helped us book all our tours to see everything in nosy Be with local guides. Including our transport at great prices, with all costs of the excursions going to local groups and tuk tuk drivers. Bernard helps you for free which is a huge bonus! His knowledge on the island and constantly suggesting things for us to do was impressive and every day out was so enjoyable. Even requesting day trips late at night the day before was never too much hassle. Every detail in this villa and our room was perfect. The room was tidy, and cleaned everyday. Everything you could ask for. The villa garden is also immaculate and kept in a great condition. There is no imperfections here. Local people working here is a nice touch and great to see, they are treated very well and feel like part of the family when staying here. Bernard also helped us withdraw money from an ATM on our final day when we had issues the day prior to our checkout which was a nice touch and definitely didn’t have to do so. I cannot recommend this place enough. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful villa. I will miss you Nadia, Bernard & Mouf the dog! Thank you for the most amazing 6 nights.

“A true gem in Nosy Be!”

We couldn't praise this place enough – a unique stay in Nosy Be. Nadia and Bernard (and Mouf the dog!) made us feel at home from the first minute to the last! Absolutely beautiful villa with amazing facilities, a lovely garden, and a great pool. The room exceeded expectations, was very clean, and had everything you would need. Nadia's kitchen is heavenly. We had a range of her specialities, including an unforgettable vanilla chicken dish. All the meals were served on our private terrace/table. Bernard and Nadia are also amazing at booking excursions (no additional costs) and recommendations for local activities, restaurants, etc. We will never forget our three nights at Villa Tonga Soa and can only hope to be back soon!

“Amazing location, great highspeed WiFi and tasty food”

my time with Bernard and Nadia was simply fantastic! the villa is 50 meters from the beach, although I personally liked the pool with the sea view much better. The sunset in the pool is a must. The room is very large, very comfy king size bed and you can switch between air conditioning and a fan. The bathroom has a rain shower with hot (!) water. I particularly liked two things the most: the internet/WiFi is excellent/highspeed, also for working (including video calls and conferences) and even if there is a power outage on the island (which happens almost every day) the generator kicks in within seconds - absolutely not a given (other accomondations very often dont have this)! So you can be sure to be connected without any hassle, day and night!! And also its a very quite area and therefore you can even enjoy working outside in the huge garden. And secondly, Nadia cooks fantastic (and huge) portions of local menus and is also very flexible and aware if you have food intolerances like me! Bernard knows the best guides and spots where to go and helps with organizing at any time. He also helped me out when i needed money from ATM to drive me there. I felt very welcome and at home. a huge thank you to Bernard and Nadia to make my time with them just amazing !!

“Perfect accommodation at Nosy Be!”

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Tonga Soa! Nadia and Bernard are amazing hosts, that made our trip to Madagascar unforgettable. Nadia’s cooking was simply delicious, flavorful dishes that we looked forward to each day. Bernard was very helpful in organizing our trips. Thanks to his excellent contacts and recommendations, we didn’t have to worry about planning much ourselves, which made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. The hosts were not only kind and accommodating but also a great company! We had many lovely chats with them, filled with laughter and good stories! In our room we didn’t miss anything, it was comfortable and perfectly clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. We had also enough privacy at our terrace where we could relax and eat dinner. Madagascar itself is an incredible destination, a big part of why we enjoyed it so much was thanks to Nadia and Bernard’s warm hospitality. We sincerely hope to meet them again someday! “Best accomodation in Madagascar”

Don’t know where to start: from the smallest details as perfectly clean sheets, finally good and clean towels (everywhere in Madagascar we had issues with towels except here), comfy bed, amazing view, best food and finally best hosts ever. Mr. Bernard and Mrs. Nadia are true representation of what you call a good host. Nadia makes the most delicious dinners and breakfasts (you see that everything is fresh and prepared with care) and Mr.Bernard was our most helpful host on this trip. If you are staying at Tonga Soa you don’t have to worry a single thing about planning the trip in advance: they can help you arrange everything and the position of the villa is amazing (you need max 20 minutes to get on both sides of the island). My husband had a really bad ear infection and they did everything to help (took him to doctor, let us stay later after check-out, went to pharmacy etc). I can’t thank you enough. One thing is sure: you come to Tonga Soa as a guest, but when you leave you feel like a family. Merci and see you one day again, for sure :)

“Not just a hotel, but your own Nosy Be family”

Rooms nice, grounds lovely, easy walk to nearby beach, perfect location in the NE of Nosy Be so you can access Sakatia etc, and the food was great But the highlight by far are the hosts - you’re not just getting a hotel, but wonderfully warm, genuine hosts who strive to give you the best stay in Nosy Be and make you feel part of the family. Bernard bends over backwards to give advice and arrange whatever you need Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND

“Felt like home”

We loved our stay with Bernard and Nadia, felt like home! Couldn't have been any better, the place is very well located, close to the cities and the Andilana and Sakatia beaches (just 10 min away) plus it has its own beach which is great for sunsets. The rooms were very new and clean (changed the towels / bed linen often and on request). The owners were super available and helped with all our requirements (booked taxis, prepared meals last minute, served very early breakfasts, provided information on trips and scooter rental etc, anything we needed, they have good connections and have good knowledge of the island). The place is very quiet and private as it only hosts 2 rooms. The pool is large. They also have a large library in case you need to borrow a book. Nadia is an excellent cook and adapted to our tastes, very fresh, the best on the island, whenever we ate out we thought we could have eaten much better at Villa Tonga Soa. The rest of the staff was also super helpful. They also have an adorable little dog and cat but they make sure they doesn't bother the guests if they don't want to. Thanks again for the beautiful stay!

Clean, beautiful and cozy. Bernard and Nadia are incredibly kind and helpful hosts, they arranged activities for us where all we had to do was go to the gate and the rest would take care of itself. We did not have time to plan much in advance and they were absolute lifesavers, we didn’t have to worry about researching much as they gave us so much advice on where is best to go and organised tuk tuks for us to get there. The villa itself is lovely and clean, but the people are even better. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

The suite facilities were excellent. Everything was working properly and was of high quality. The surrounding is beautiful. Just a 100 meters pass to the beach. The Villa faces west so sunsets are amazing, every night. Bernard and Nadia are great hosts. Dinners were amazing, probably better than any restaurant on the island.

“Best place to stay in Nosy be!”

Villa Tonga Soa exceeded our expectations. Room was spacious, very clean and with big attention to details. Flowers, paintings, pieces of african art everywere. The villa is in a stunning garden with a nice pool and at a few steps from a marvellous beach where you will be alone in front of a special sunset and from where you can reach Nosy Sakatia in 10 minutes with a small boat! Owners are very kind and always take care of your stay but never invasive. They help us to visit all the beautiful places on the island and they are the best advisors you can have in Nosy be! Thank you Bernard, Nadia and Celestine, really you make our stay unforgettable.

“Great place”

Bernard and Nadia were the best hosts ever! They told us a lot about Madagascar and Nosy Be, helped us organize tuctucs etc. Also Nadia is an excellent cook, we had the tastiest meals every night for dinner. This will probably be the best food you find on Madagascar 😊

“I would like to stay again”

The owner treated us very well. We couldn't find many restaurants near the hotel. However, I'm glad that they were able to provide us with a delicious meal despite my sudden request. We ate there every day. There was nothing wrong with the daily recommended menu. Also, although we didn't have any plans, we were able to enjoy local activities without losing time thanks to the arrangements made by the owner. When you go here, please prepare Madagascar Ariary. Required at time of payment. We didn't want to bother them, but we didn't have enough Madagascar ariary so we did. Thank you for your hospitality.

“An oasis in Nosy-Be”

After the chaos of Nosy-Be airport, we weren’t sure what to expect at Villa Tonga Soa. The only way to describe it was walking into an oasis of calm on the western side of Nosy-be. We were enthusiastically greeted by Bernard and their small dog, Mouf, then Nadia also joined and instantly started to feed us. We’ve never had a more private and personalised experienced anywhere in the world. Every inch of the house and garden was decorated with great care and consideration. We loved our room which was always clean and well presented. We chose to eat at the Villa almost everyday. This wasn’t due to lack of choice but because the food was of the highest quality and so tasty! Nadia is an absolute hero as she was cooking even with a broken leg. Bernard was a fountain of knowledge and gave us good recommendations/advice on what to do and what not to do. We had all the privacy we wanted but one of the highlights of our day was taking a pre-dinner drink with this wonderful couple. Everything we needed was arranged: transfer from and to the airport, Tuk Tuk to visit Lemuria land and bazaar, ride to ATM. The main purpose of our trip was to dive and Sakalav diving was a 10-15 minute walk away. Thank you so much Bernard and Nadia! We hope to come back to you soon!

“A beautiful place to relax and recuperate (+ delicious food!)”

Bernard and Nadia are wonderful hosts. My partner and I spent the last few days of our Madagascar trip here at Villa Tonga Soa, it was a beautiful place to relax and recuperate after all the travel. The room and amenities were clean and well-maintained. They were both incredibly helpful and accommodating, with great suggestions on day trips and activities to do in the area. And Nadia's cooking - Wow! We actually had the best dinner in Madagascar here! Thank you so much for having us, it was one of the highlights of our trip overall and we'll definitely be back one day! “It's an oasis!”

Villa Tonga Soa was definitely our best accomodation in madagaskar. The owner and the personell are really kind people, the dinners were by far the best in madagaskar (ask for the vanilla chicken!), everything gets cleaned daily, its really quiet. It's an oasis!

“Nice, quiet, homely, excellent”

Beautiful, cosy and artistically individually decorated - praising Nadia's tasteful handiwork - our hosts Bernard and Nadia have created a very friendly and private environment at Villa Tonga Soa. Spacious communal space, bar, outdoor and indoor terrace, pool with cleaned water every day, wonderful tropical garden and the accessories and furnishings are very imaginative. Perfectly comfortable size rooms, cleanliness, cleaning every day. The facilities were also up to standard (hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, clean towels changed every day). The ocean view was perfect... ...Nadia and Bernard are wonderful hosts. Bernard was somehow always present if we needed anything, always cheerful, always helpful and also importantly knowledgeable and familiar with everything in and around Nosy Be. And then there are Nadia's dinners which we have to mention. Long story short, she definitely deserves a Michelin star. She made us fantastic Madagascan and Reunion specialities...which we could never eat them all, however delicious they were. So, one thing I would highly recommend to everyone. Immediately on arrival, ask Nadia emphatically to cook only zone portion dinners. Or you will be guaranteed to leave Tonga Soá with a significant overweight. :D
