Everything. The staff, the place, everything incredible. Room was perfect and the staff super helpful, kind, and welcoming. The food was also amazing. Feeling alone in the world, free activities included, feeling at home. Ideal for resting a couple of days before returning into the world.

Amazing hotel and fantastic value for money. The staff go above and beyond throughout your entire stay. The food is great, 5 courses at each meal using only local / sustainable produce. I would 100% recommend a stay at Ravana Garden.

We (my husband and I) spent three days at this wonderful hotel! We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Bodikar, Lakshitar, Hansika and, last but not least, Nallin and all the other staff did everything they could to make our stay unforgettable. We still fondly remember Hansika's magnificent cooking! Many thanks to everyone, we are already looking forward to our next visit to Ravana Garden!

A stay at Ravana Garden was the true definition of luxury in harmony with nature. This boutique property is located in a beautiful setting between rice fields and the Indian Ocean, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally warm, helpful, and always ready to meet your expectations. Special thanks go to manager Nalin, Iresha, and Lakshitha for creating homely atmosphere and the feeling of being truly cared for. Organic food was served without artificial ingrediences. Auyrvedic treatments were ideal to relax.

“Sri Lanka from its best side”

We enjoyed the warm welcome and very friendly service during out 7 days stay. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding regarding quality and taste, varity of all dishes. Additionally we used the relaxing massages and enjoyed all other services and support by the staffs. The concept of the hotel regarding sustainability and individual service is exceptionell.

Resort concept is good. Ideal for a healthy living style seeker. Location is great. Friendly staff. Lovely getaway from crowded city life.

“Perfect vacation with Ravana Garden”

Having been fortunate enough to have stayed at the hotel and been the only guests for 3 out of the 8 days we were there. This gave us a unique experience of the hotel and the staff. We felt like we had our own private hotel. The hotel has a very local feel to it with an impression of being submerged in the forest surrounded by greenery. So much wildlife and the sound of the ocean constant crashing on the beach The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome comfortable and at home. As an eco hotel with full board we were not sure how it would be and if we would enjoy the experience. The locally sourced fresh food was amazing and could not be faulted. We could not help but leave empty plates after every meal. We would highly recommend viewing the video on the iPad provided in the room. This will give you a better idea of the resort and how it works. If travelling with younger kids or fussy eaters the hotel was very flexible and help making some simple foods for it 4 year old son. We were lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka at New Year and the team were very kind to arrange a special breakfast and involve us with the traditional ceremonies, celebrations and games and even planting the trees❤️ After this vacation we felt so comfortable we almost felt like we were at home. I’m sure everyone has different experiences and when visiting new places but our was just perfect for us. We would highly recommend this resort to any of our friends or anyone planning to visit Sri Lanka. We would like to thank our hosts, again, for the amazing time we had in the Ravana Garden resort! Will be back for sure ♥️

“Beautiful, quiet, sustainable hotel far away from the crowds”

This is a wonderful, small hotel off the beaten track. The staff (including Dilki, Lakshitha and Malith) were all very friendly and helpful. The food was different at every meal and cooked from local ingredients. Every dish was a surprise and very delicious. We ate vegetarian food. The hotel is dedicated to sustainability. The swimming pool was very nice. To swim in the sea you have to walk quite far along the beach. Our room had a fantastic view of the beach. There was plenty of wildlife to see. We went on a cycling tour through the village which was a great experience. The local river safari is definitely worth it for bird spotting and the sunset. We loved it here

Amazing place. Over the course of my holiday this was by far the best place we stayed. Quiet, relaxing, very friendly and kind staff. The food was exceptional and if i find myself in the region of Sri lanka again I plan on going back.

Ravanna Garden is a boutique hotel like no other. The staff, food, rooms, garden, pool, beach are all exceptional. It is a little oasis in an otherwise busy world! On Arrival there is building works going on which a little off putting, but no one is disturbed by it and once walked beyond it you arrive into the oasis! The rooms are large, super clean and comfortable with every facility needed . NOTE - on arrival you are asked to let them know if ,and when, you would like your room cleaned. Remember this is an eco hotel, therefore how often do you really need your towels and linen changing ?! The food is exceptional, organic, local, and you can even buy their own local spices. The service throughout is excellent and they cannot do enough to ensure your stay with them is nothing short of everything you would like. A walk along the beach is must to the harbour wall where there is a safe swimming spot, and many of the locals converge there. Be brave and stay longer than 1 or 2 nights, it is very much well worth it - there are added surprises along the way and the team do everything they can. Bikes are available to go the local temple and a visit with a hotel guide to show the effects of the Tsunami is a must, plus the wildlife and roadside stores make for a very interesting visit.

“Amazing beautiful peaceful stay”

Loved the healthy organic food. Staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautiful with lovely interior and comfy beds. Pool area was clean, quiet and towels drinks delivered to beds. Loved getting coconut water delivered to room on first day. New year eve and day was lovely with Sri Lankan dancing and a Buddhist blessing. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, and such a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful for all our needs. The location added to the relaxing holiday a wonderful experience to say the least.
