Everything was fantastic. The owners could not have been nicer. A beautiful room at the beach with a great roof terrace with kitchen for our use. Overall very relaxed and homely feel.

Lovely family. Nice rooms including a huge terasse on the roof with kitchen facing the sea. Some of the rooms have panoramowindows facing the sea. Amazing. Close to the beach with a very nice restaurant. Wallama beach restaurant. The Maskmuseum, fancy ni?ce café and a bag supermarket very close. Walking distance to town.

“Fantastic place by the sea and shops run by great people”
The standard are so very high in this wonderful guest house with a brilliant kitchen and dining area over looking the ocean, the kitchens were very well equipped with everything you need to cook food which you can get from keels supermarket which is only two minutes walk, the furnishings was of high quality and the place is super clean with lovely bedroom. The highlight of our stay was the owners who are a beautiful sincere couple who see nothing as a problem and help you with any requests you may have. Was sad to leave and will return again for sure

“Delightful family-run hotel in a great location”
The owners of the hotel were lovely - helping us with all sorts of things! For example, they arranged a very good boat trip for us on the Madhu river. The rooms are comfortable, the whole place is clean and the roof terrace and kitchen are really very pleasant and well-appointed! The location is great, so close to the beach; also close to the market and shops so everything is on hand.

“Value for the money”
Beautiful sea view from the rooftop. It has a common kitchenette with all necessary items and refrigerator. Large dining area on the roof top with a beautiful view. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is super clean with cold and hot water. There is a Keells super within the walking distance for groceries. Ambalangoda town is also within 5 minutes drive. Owner and his family is friendly and helpful.

“Lovliest place in Ambalangoda”
After six years I finally managed to visit Sri Lanka again, this time with a friend. Had the most wonderful time there and wanted to visit Ambalangoda again. It was fascinating how much Sonali and Brasenna had done in the meantime. Rooms were clean and comfortable as always but now there are even more rooms and a rooftop with hammocks and tables to relax and to enjoy the view on the beach, just a walking distance away. Beach is still clean and not too crowded which offers the perfectly relaxing time. And Sonali is still a brilliant cook and spoiled us a lot. Thank you so much, will come again and stay longer....
