“A perfect place for a perfect break”

We had a fantastic time at the Green Parot villa. The villa is amazing, its right on the beach and unlike some villa's it actually is how it looks in the pictures. Breakfast was ample and we didnt need any lunch, however there was a large menu available if you wanted anything else to eat during the day. The staff went above and beyond to help with any requests. They arranged a whale watching trip for us. There a several other trips that are available to go on if you are interested. A tuktuk was available whenever we needed with just a 2 minute wait. We will definately be going back we had a perfect break in an absolutely perfect place.

“Amazong stay with wonderful hosts”

We had an incredible stay at this villa! Dananjaya and Isha are the most welcoming and attentive hosts you could ask for. They truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a delight! The villa itself is spotless, including the beautiful pool, which was always clean and well-maintained. While the location might seem a bit outside the center, it’s no issue at all – a quick 5-minute Tuk Tuk ride gets you into town easily. Overall, an amazing experience! We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back. Thank you, Dananjaya & Isha, for making our stay so special!

Great spacy villa right on the ocean shore. Looks exactly as in the pictures. Helpful and friendly staff and owner. Tasty breakfast. Big pool. Very ambient lighting after sunset. Quiet location (outskirts of Ambalangoda) - not as nearly busy as Hikkaduwa, which is perfect. Ambalangoda is ~1km away, Hikkaduwa ~10km, which is a great oppurtunity to rent a bike for :) Overall - a really great place to stay :) As it is said in other reviews - staff rooms are in the back of a villa, but you can ask them to leave (or just be there in the morning and leave after breakfast) if you want complete privacy.

“Green-parrot Villa is the best thing to happen in Sri Lanka! We will definitely come back”

We stayed here for a week and felt like at home. Sudath answered all questions and was always on call to help with the transfer and other things, and for that we are very grateful. The staff are incredibly friendly, thanks to Thusha that we didn't worry about anything, he is a driver, we felt comfortable with. And thanks to the lady for cleaning and delicious food she cooked for us. Everything on the villa is well-thought: stylish interior, pool area, green background and of course the incredible huge beach that is just behind the fence. My advice, how you can combine business with pleasure: often waves throw on the shore trash and plastic, so you can walk along the shore with a trash bin or bag for garbage and collect it to take care of the planet. There are also 2 dogs that sometimes come to the villa, very kind and tender. I will be grateful to everyone who will be kind and show them care, feed or play with them, because these animals are very attracted to humans 🙏🏻

“Perfect start to Sri Lanka holiday”

An absolutely beautiful villa blending traditional and modern architecture. The best food we had during our trip, home cooked fresh and delicious. The villa opens up onto a well kept pool and then again onto the beach. Wonderful to wake up, dip in the ocean, breakfast and swim in the pool. There’s not much to do in close proximity but a short drive or tuk tuk will take to many places. The staff: housekeeper/cook and handyman/security were fantastic. Never been so well looked after.

Beautiful clean spacious bedrooms and bathrooms Staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay an experience to remember. The pool and garden is beautifully maintained. The beach is lovely and quiet. Delicious breakfast.

The location was great to visit the south of the island, the facilities were amazing, rooms spacious, everyone looked after us amazingly, the food was amazing cooked by Aisha (sorry if that’s not the correct spelling) Sudath was an amazing host, organised everything for us from a bottle of wine to a safari, and Kasun was the best, took me fishing, was there 3 or 4 times a day, did our shopping if we needed it, and of course all our trips too, go visit, you’ll love it!!!!
