“Amazing owner”

We really enjoyed our stay here , principally because of the very hardworking and engaging owner. He met us straight out of the car , we were offered tea, and lots of good advice. It is a pleasant 2.5km walk down into town , and a minivan runs every hour back up if you don’t want to walk. The room was comfortable , and had a great view. It was incredibly easy to access by rental car with parking right outside the front door. The breakfast was prepared thoughtfully , and all the breads and pastries were handmade by the owner. Great selection of salad ingredients too. Best of all , was that he so kindly managed to get us a reservation - the best table at the best restaurant in town . So special.

“Calm and relaxing stay”

Very clean small hotel. Owners are genuinely nice people. Room was big and bed comfortable. I was offered a free upgrade and was given a room with sea view. Cannot comment on breakfast - I did not take it, but tea was offered at no charge.

We stayed 3 nights. English speaking host was kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a fine view over the Black Sea. Breakfasts were excellent, the best we had in Turkiye. It's a 30-40 minute walk down the hill to restaurants and waterfront.

“Wonderful family run hotel”

We had a wonderful stay here. The owners and staff are so welcoming and kind, nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was immaculate, bed was comfy and the breakfast each morning was amazing - especially the home made jams! Location was great for us, parking on site and just a few minutes drive into town

Great place where I got the feeling they would do everything possible to make my stay easy. I had cheaper room at the back, but perfectly happy. Breakfast will keep you going for most of the day. Walk to town/beach about 35 mins on not busy road and downhill most of the way. You can get taxi for around 100try back..

“Amazing place!!!”

If you need a place in Amasra go there, you will love it. It is situated up on a hill with stunning view on the Black Sea coast about 2.5 km from the city centre. But even if you don't have a car it is easy to reach. You can either take a taxi or one of the hourly Minibusses. As soon as you enter the hotel you will feel at home. Mehmet and his wife Ceyla and their daugthers are amazing kind, warmhearted and hospitable people. No matter if you need help or advice they are there and always up to help and support. What ever time of the day you are coming they will welcome you with a cup of tea. Ceyla is an amazing cook and you will get a taste of it if you have breakfast with different kind of pastries, cake and jam. The variety of the breakfast is great and everything is freshly prepared. During season Mehmet is offering his guests freshly picked figs from the tree close by. Also all the stuff members in the house and kitchen are outstanding friendly and kind. The atmosphere in the whole house is just very friendly and peaceful. The house does have no elevator but they are helping you with carrying bags upstairs. The rooms are great. Like everything in this place the rooms are spotless clean. The beds are comfortable, there is a hair dryer available and on the balcony there are chairs and a table and the possibility to hang some laundry for drying. There was not one thing I missed during my stay. I enjoyed my four days at Ceylin hotel thoroughly and can't wait to return. I came as a guest and when I left it felt like leaving friends. Thank you so much!!!

The hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in Amasra. Quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast was superb. The owner speaks very good English and was very helpful. Highly recommended. Great value for money.

Family business, housewife came to pick us up from bus stop and gave their own made bakery late night both free of charge 💓

From the minute you walk in the hospitality was exceptional. The hotel is clean, well presented, fantastic spread for breakfast, air-conditioning perfect as was the view from the balcony.

Very kind hosting, free parking, nice sea view , clean room , would love to revisit at my next trip.
